Las Vegas - zero132132 - 14-04-2004 Most likely just a hobby unless I start winning national championships too (not very likely but still possible). Las Vegas - Lee-yoshi - 14-04-2004 No chance in looking out for you on the TV then anytime soon! Las Vegas - zero132132 - 14-04-2004 You probably wouldn't see it on tv anyway. Unless I made it to the Olympics they never really televise wrestling. Although, on ESPN they are going to start televising wrestling if they get enough support. I might get there, I might not. It all depends on how much effort and time I put into it. Las Vegas - Lee-yoshi - 14-04-2004 I dunno there's quite a bit of televised wrestling over here. Makes it sound quite a hugely followed sport in the US. There's a newly made 'Wrestling Channel' on Sky Digital that was started not that long ago. Apart from that its WWE which i watch regularly on Sky Sports! But although i'm sure it brings in some nice money, its also probabily not that big in the actual wrestling! Las Vegas - zero132132 - 15-04-2004 Yeah. We real wrestlers don't like it when WWE is called Pro Wrestling. It makes us angrified if I may use a made up word. It's fairly well followed in some parts of the country but in others it is a minority sport. Places it is followed well include Colorado, Iowa, Oklahoma, Idaho, and that's about it. Oh, and Ohio. |
