The transformations have more chance of occuring if you have found a lot one the card that is transforming. If you could trade away these cards then your total would be lower, unless it logs the total ever found.
It may do that already, but I wouldn't know as I am still something of a newbie when it comes to ep3

But i have 37 barberous wolves & i got no transformations, i want to get rid of some of them
