More likely it is that you have a much greater chance of a rarer card of the same type as the ratio the pack goes by.
Say at level 40 theres a 5% chance of chaos bringer in blue pack and 1% in black pack (that is 5% for each card pulled not 5% chance for whole pack)
not including the ratio of how many monsters to items to action to assist.

i must just be lucky, i read elsewhere in the forum that sranks appear at lvl 21, and 6 fights into lvl 21 i got my chaos bringer. however im now level 27 and havent seen a single s rank since then.
