Cursed Mahu!!!! - whiteninja - 28-10-2004 the mahu's description says that it drains tp but all the guides i've seen say that it has geist as the special, and if it really is soul i can stop looking for it because i found a soul raygun yesterday i'm almost certain that it is geist though because even this site calls it geist, and the talis is mind Cursed Mahu!!!! - Hrith - 28-10-2004 It's Soul, unlike this site, my info is 100% verified. Cursed Mahu!!!! - Gynn Rei - 28-10-2004 Kefka Wrote:And Double Edge, the point was that if you do not know, just do not post, this avoids false info to spread. Thank you Kefka. I might want to get myself some Geist Vulcans then, great for my FOmar... if he actually succeeds to hit. Cursed Mahu!!!! - whiteninja - 28-10-2004 last night i actually found not 1, but 2 geist rayguns!!! so i have no need for a mahu at all nowi don't understand why they're only 8-star weapons though, because they're the best handgun with the best tp steal attack; i found a gush gungir last night also and that was 9-star and had a yellow name whatever... at least now i can stop trying to get the mahu 1/11 chance, yeah right Cursed Mahu!!!! - Double Edge - 28-10-2004 well if i were you, i'd keep trying for a Mahu...they're quite powerful. But if a simple raygun tickles your fancy...ok. Cursed Mahu!!!! - flickynick - 28-10-2004 whiteninja Wrote:last night i actually found not 1, but 2 geist rayguns!!!even better get a Geist Vulcan, they will be much better with more hits, but they may need quite a bit of ata/hit % Cursed Mahu!!!! - whiteninja - 28-10-2004 are you sure that the geist vulcans are better than rayguns? i'm almost certain that they split the tp recharge % between the 3 hits so the total % for each press of the button is 6% with either a raygun or a vulcan and since the rayguns have better range and accuracy wouldn't they be better? and i'm still not completely giving up on the mahu, but now if i don't get one it's okay and if i get one then it's better by the way Gynn Rei you said that you FOmar has a problem with hitting with vulcans so if you want to get a mag with a really good accuracy for your FOmar do this: 1. give your greenill RAmar a mag 2. feed it antiparalysis until lvl 10 3. it evolves to kalki, if not, you screwed up 4. feed antidotes until POW is lvl 5 AND ALMOST 6, then do antiparalysis until MIND is lvl 3 OR ALMOST to 4 5. it should be level 35 now and evole to mitra, if not, you screwed up 6. feed antiparalysis (only DEX will go up, and by alot: 0.2 lvl's per item) 7. it evoles to kaitabha, if not, surprise! you screwed up!! 8. feed it antidotes until level 200, then give it to your FOmar this will make a mag with 188 DEX and the fish, light pillar, and shifta/deband moves; this is the way i've found to give the least possible lvl's to things that aren't DEX. of course a level 200 FOmar only needs 50 DEX on a mag to max out ATA, but your a long way from there; still though, but maybe after 100 DEX lvl's you'll want to give it some difluids for MIND or dimates for POW note: these directions for a mag will work for any greenill, bluefull, pinkal, whitill or oran ranger, but not for any other ID rangers, any forces, or any hunters Cursed Mahu!!!! - Gynn Rei - 28-10-2004 whiteninja Wrote:are you sure that the geist vulcans are better than rayguns? Yes they are better, every hit steals 6% or something? 9 times hitting is pretty much tp. Quote:and i'm still not completely giving up on the mahu, but now if i don't get one it's okay and if i get one then it's better The Mahu is a multi hitting weapon so it can steal Tp of more enemies if it actually hits. Quote:by the way Gynn Rei you said that you FOmar has a problem with hitting with vulcans so if you want to get a mag with a really good accuracy for your FOmar do this: I have never tried hitting something with him other then Bartles in Forest 1 in the Ultimate. I did not miss a thing, but the facts are as following. FOmar has the lowest ATA potential in the game, my FOmar is only lvl 90. Quote:1. give your greenill RAmar a mag I do not need 188 dex on a mag, why do I want to have so much ATA if I can't deliver the punch or the pure magical slicing? It is better to have God/Arms equipped. Why would a FO need Shifta and Deband on his mag when he can do shifta and deband lvl 30? I think I know quite enough about playing PSO and Mags to handle my own things. A few basic lines on raising mags for example are; keep def at 5, keep dex as low as possible by using God/Arms instead, for those other two stats you should find out yourself. Cursed Mahu!!!! - whiteninja - 28-10-2004 if you say that geist vulcans do 6% nine times i'll believe you but the tp recharge i've always gotten seemed more like 2% nine times :S - my RAmar using a geist gatling had about 250 tp and was getting +5tp with each of the nine hits and +15tp with each of the three hits with a geist railgun and also... mags with 188 DEX are also very good things, yes, 188 may be a little overboard but if you need it to equip a hp or tp recharge weapon and and not get misses all the time it's worth it the shifta/deband is one of the better moves for a mag too in general because half the classes can't use those moves at all and it can be used in multiplayer to do pb combo attacks, for example the dolphin and the shifta/deband done at the same time does alot more damage, and does a really strong shifta and deband on both the characters, furthermore, when used in a chain of pb attacks the it can do a shifta/deband that's as strong as a lvl 50 would be if there was such a thing; the other mag moves all suck anyway, the snake doesn't do enough damage, the moose only hits one enemy, and the resta... just use a trimate one time i had a low level FOnewearl, something like 20 or so, with 4 elf/arms and one of those mags she could use the inferno bazooka, didn't do much damage but could use the special pretty well and it was cool because they're supposed to be around lvl 180 before they could use that right now i have a RAmar, he's lvl 70 and his ATA is maxed, he uses a dark raygun can take out 95% of the enemies in very hard with a three part special attack combo the point of having an all DEX mag is to get the specials to hit, the regular and heavy attacks hit well enough on their own. to "deliver the punch", as you said, a force is supposed to use techs not weapons, which is why a mag and weapon that allow you to recharge tp easily are good things for forces. if my suggesting that mag offended you in some way i'm sorry but i still think that DEX mags are great now that that's over, i didn't know that the mahu attacks multiple enemies so thanks for telling me that because that does make it seem better than a raygun
Cursed Mahu!!!! - IceTitan - 29-10-2004 That mag is over the top really. shrug a 50 Dex mag is enough really since it pretty much maxes your ATA I think. Which for a Fomar is the lowest a Force can have I think 163 max. But I'd go for a Mahu, you can hit pretty much everything in front of you with it. Since it acts like a Slicer I think, never actually used a Card type item so not sure. I know when I want a Draining item I usualy go for a slicer type. |
