To think I have read all of these posts and I have only heard of mabey 1 or 2 of the series listed here. These must be books you can only get were you all live. Its cool to think of how many great books are out there that I may never even get to hear of unless I came here. (Please ingore my grammer and spelling I have never been that great at it.)

Out of my own curiosity has anyone outside of Canada and the US have heard or read the Animorph series. That has to one of my favorites.

That's good I was starting to slow down on my reading so as to allow the series to continue on longer. Truth be told, I was kinda' getting depressed thinking that Crossroads Of Twilight(cool name isn't it?) was the final book.
On a different note a girl at my school who's a big fantasy buff told me to read the Red Wall series, but I've never been big on the anthriphomorphic(Did I spell that right?) animal things. I like the fantasy worlds that sound as if they might exist. The vocabulary Jordan uses in the Wheel of Time had me reading the same sentence 5 or 6 times. Next time I go back and read the books I'm going to be sitting there with a dictionary.
Other than the Red Wall series, Wheel of Time, and LOTR I haven't heard of a single one of these series either.

it is about these 5 kids and 1 alien called an Andalite. The Andilites haev a techonogy that alows them to morph (change) into any animal they touch. They are out to stop the invasiion of the Yeerk speices. They are a race of slugs that crawl into the ear of another race and takes over their body through their brain. My favorite series would have to be Piers Anthony's Xanth series. Back in grade school I had to do one of those dreadded book reports and didn't have a darn clue as to what to read.
So with a week to go before the book report was due my mom brought a book home from the high school where she works. At first I thought the book was going to be dull since I had no idea what a pedestal was back then. In less than 6 hours I had devoured Dragon on a Pedestal and went to work on the book report.
I worked for hours on the book report, and when the day came to read the report to the class I was rather excited. One technicality though... the book had to be from the school's small and unimpressive library. I ended up getting a D+ for the report for reading a book from an outside library and for "reading a book beyond my skill level".
And people wonder why most kids from the school system I went to don't do so well.

I'd totally forgotten about that series. Not bad, but it never really tickled my fancy.
