I'd say much more customization options, I mean, look at Ep2 characters: Flowen, Nol, Elly, Delta, Leo, they look so cool. And it will help prevent so many look-alike characters.

That's a good idea.
Me and a friend were discussing this once, and we came up with the idea with 3 outfit styles/body styles (for androids) and each has 2 or 3 rows of colours, like they have now, except now they only have one style.

Well I mean the AI in some areas, would be nice if some enemies tried to dodge istead of walking into a foie!

personally, i think if you eliminated the targeting sytem and changed it to first/third person shooting/fighting and left the game intact otherwise, it would eiminate the same boring repetative combat to a degree.
but that's just me

I would like to customize S-ranks totally. Like their name (nine letters is bull-shit) their color(picking colors would be easy, they have white swords as mods I believe) change what they look like, like having 3 or 4 different shaped blades for a scythe or a sword ect. ect. and give you a list of animations you can decide from. That would be customization.

Since ill assume the bulk of pso epi1+2 would stay the same in this question im not gona say make the game world a proper mmo size. It would be nice however to have a more customizable user interface would be easier to play a force if the spells were listed in a blue-burst style of menu.

...Facial extressions! lol if would be really cool if they could mold in the ability to do actions and have facial expressions with your characters. Like Fable! But without the dorky looking character, lol

A character class that looked like a cat eh...kinnda like the .Hack series. =P I guess that would be cool. In PSU there's going to be an animality class, maybe a cat. Who knows.
