"Races" of PSO - Deadly Zero - 08-02-2005 yeah teh is right he said its a theory too and whats wrong about talking bout people breeding? "Races" of PSO - Kal - 08-02-2005 ur all missing the big piont. A newmans life-span is undifined, "they could die today or tomorow"(Sue). they don't know "Races" of PSO - Teh EkwEE - 08-02-2005 That's a presumption though. And those words can be twisted around. It could mean: 1) as you stated, every newman is completely different in terms of lifespan 2) Newmans are so new,(in PSO) no one has studied their life span to get an average or 3) They live so long,or perhaps better yet, always appear young so no one can determine how old they are. It could mean:hmmm interesting presumption "Races" of PSO - Mirinee - 08-02-2005 I have thought about what HUnewearl Sue said. I read an article about it somewhere, long ago. I don't believe it. It might just be something made up by Black Paper to scare her. Since Dr Montague is such a smart scientist, why would he not be trying to find a cure to it rather than making androids? In fact, Sue might not even be talking about Newmans. She could mean for everyone. It's true enough. You really don't know when you'll die .I like Teh EkwEE idea of defining the Newman/human thing distinctly rather than having hybriding. Lucky him. I remember learning about the Punnett square at his age. I've forgotten all about it. :$ Oh! Androids are played by humans. Sometimes people are so good at role-play that I forget these things.
"Races" of PSO - Vahn RAmar - 08-02-2005 Good points but we must think way back in PS history. When the first newman was made it was a she. aside from that, there was only one. Now I'm not quite sure but there are two ways to make assumptions, which is confusing to me because I didn't play the original PS games. If she were the only newman made: She would have to mate with a human, and there would be a chance that any children she had would be Human-Newman, not to mention she would have to have lots of children so there would be less in-breeding in the future. If there were more made: Than there would be pure newman for the most part. "Races" of PSO - Faulkie - 08-02-2005 Although machines can only react on input variables, could the process in deciding an output not become much more sophisticated? If PSO was real, do you think Newmans (and androids I guess) suffer from Racism from the humans? "Races" of PSO - Feline Witch - 08-02-2005 Yeah, if you remember, in PSOIII, someone said that a few years ago, a lot of androids were destroyed for being androids, and Sil'fer said that she wanted to find a way of making androids, humans and newmans be happy together. and i think someone else said that androids are considered to be taking up sapce that should be used for humans. And Viviana tortures Teifu! "Races" of PSO - Mirinee - 08-02-2005 Maybe a whole bunch of Newmans (including Newms) were made after the first Newman and they successfully bred with each other. If Newmans were real, then I ... would probably be "racist" because I don't even see them as the same species as humans! But no. I think people would be smart enough to want to get along with them but not fall in love with them. Yes, they were very racist even in the game! It was the OPPS incident (what did it stand for?). But why destroy? Humans should've just stopped their Android Factories or their Newman-making centers ( ) for a while. Poor Androids! What a horrible way for population control. Vivianna mistreats Teifu and Break mistreats Lura. I haven't noticed any human being racist to Newman or vice versa. The androids, even Guykild, all seem to be pretty emotional. It'll be millions of input variables and they'll have awesome processing power to run the human-emulator inside them to produce such human-like emotions. There must be a reason to want to emulate humans, but I can't see it (other than it being beneficial to humans). "Races" of PSO - Faulkie - 09-02-2005 Maybe just to make the android's life better. And why not fall in love with a newman? Also, if you were a male newman, you'd have to become a force, yet if you were a male human, you'd get a choice. Racism! Lol. |
