I piped for rappies the other day between 270-350 Beats and met like 8-9 and the they just stopped appearing. I play offline so i changed the GC Clock, but then they didn't appear at all. Finding items maybe depends on beats who know? isn't there an official PSO guide?maybe it's in there

I don't really think there is a theory to getting rares only chance. Every monster has say a certain chance of dropping a rare item and that chance is reset when you pipe, so guess that it is just down to luck when go monster/item hunting.

There's a theor for rare monsters,their appearing rate is stronger on certain beat times(Hildetorr at 666).

It has to do with the beat. Because my Blufull gets about 40% of her rares during 500 to 700, or at least somewere aournd there.
This isnt three or four times this is most of ther time I play. I belive htat its just a "lucky time", that a characer is ramdomly given when its created, wich increases the chanse of getting rare,maybe not new, but still rares.

My bluefull gets more rares around 300 and 600 beats as well as finding rare enemies at these times.

Oh! and in mult-player The times change, in multplayer that time changes, I belive it soes some simple calculation with the "lucky" time of all the players and figures out a new one for that sesion. I dunno about online since i aint gots a modem.
