man that sounds like it sucked

Merikle - NetNomad - 16-04-2005

I dunno if you're screwed; in my few offline runs I could just use the Frozen Shooter on one, even when it was close. My problem with them is, when there's more than one at a time... East Tower, floor 6 for instance. If you don't immediately get behind the Merikle, it or the two Mericarols will kill you (and NEVER leave your pipe back on floor 5, then you're almost screwed - it took me like ten tries to kill the two Mericarols at once).

But yeah, Frozen Shooter is a godsend for Rangers, and thus, probably any party that's attacking the tower. Especially if you have one with hit. Heh, LT, there's something we need to play sometime... maybe round up a hunter or two...

sounds fun

Merikle - Teh EkwEE - 16-04-2005

They don't shoot their ball of death in Normal through Very-hard, they just confuse and use thier beeping alarm of death....

Merikle - whiteninja - 16-04-2005

The red balls confuse, but the yellow one shocks and the blue one freezes. But in Ultimate it's just instant doom... doom... DOOOOOOOM!

I'm not sure if the names are right, but red I think is Mericarol, yellow Mericus, and blue Merikle.

Merikle - Forge - 18-04-2005

Hey, are the Merikle and Mericus rare versions of the Mericarol? And are they available offline?

Merikle - whiteninja - 18-04-2005

Merikle and Mericus are differnt forms of Mericarol that are found in the online or PSO+ Control Tower quests. So if you're offline, you'll need PSO+ to see them. (But you might not want to see them, because they're 3vi1!!!! 3vi1!!!!)

Merikle - Anti Hacker - 19-04-2005

Theyre nice and slow enemys to fight, jsut make sure youre not to close and keep hitting them hard so they recoil and dont fire the evil energy balls. They have low evp, so no problems there. Usually you need a few people to stop it hailing death upon you, thoug. Unless you have some good hit% mechs. Charge Vulcan are good.

Merikle - ~Buddah~ - 19-04-2005

thats harsh there

Merikle - Hrith - 19-04-2005

Merikle has high HP, average DFP and insabe EVP.
