well if inuyasha did become a full fledge demon, im 90% sure he would go on a killing rampage and never return to his normal way of life. i say that because since hes only half demon, hes never really experienced his full demon nature so he doesnt know how to controll it. Probably his demon blood overpowers what he would naturally do and since his demon side has kinda been surpressed for so long, its lust for blood and carnage is too much for inuyasha to handle.
In the series kagome has been able to stop him in his demon form, but if he uses the shikon no tama, i dont believe kagome would be able to stop him.

Well as long as Inuyasha is near the Tetsaiga the he'll never change into a full demon. It the tetsaiga was broken by oh let's say Naraku then let him fight the Band of 7 then he'll become a demon and no one would be able to stop him

I doubt that it would break again the tetsaiga is stonger than ever thanks to Totosai our only hope is that bonryu powered up by the jewel shards will do the job.

if you think about it, Naraku has an easy chance to kill inuyasha. All he would have to do is change into a village person or something in order to get close to inuyasha without him knowing. But inuyasha would be able to smell Naraku's scent, but Naraku could just burn incense like jaken did one episode. Naraku could just walk up to inu and kill him in an instant.

Or Naraku could wait until Miroku's Windtunnel gets bigger and draws Inuyasha and his friends into it, but that would probaly take to long.
