alright ive seen a lot of things about pipeing lately and if it works.
on gamecube a rare enemy appearance is 1/512
piping is a technique on where u find a bunch of a enemy wich has a rare
enemy form. say ur aimin for a Pal Rappy and thers a room with 5 in the room
u telepipe in that room and go back to pioneer 2 (think thats correct) then u go back to the forest's and see if any of the rappies turned into a Pal Rappy if not u telepipe again and go back to forest and do this until u find a Pal Rappy. Just because u see 512 Rappies does NOT!! i repeat it does NOT! meen u will have a rare enemy. This can take anywhere from 10 minutes to 3 hours or even more.
Episode 1 (normal mode through v-hard)
normal monster---Rare monster
Rag Rappy----Al Rappy
Hildebear----Hildeblue
Poison Lily----Nar Lily
Poufully slime(blue)----Pouilly Slime (red)
Episode 2 (normal mode through v-hard)
Normal monster---Rare monster
Rag Rappy---Love rappy
Poison Lily---Nar Lily
Hildebear---Hildeblue
Episode 1 (Ultimate)

Well if you're going for Pal Rappies, you shouldn't settle with a room with 5.
Places to pipe:
Rappies (EP1) - FiY, there's a room with 8 (hard to get a good view), then the next room has 2 waves of 7 that are easier to see
Hilde's (EP1) - FoS, go to the room that starts with 2 Hilde's, run around, a 3 appears, kill it, another appears, kill it, 2 more appear, those 2 and the starting two give you a total of 4; LfL has a room with 3; CDFS (PSO+) quest extension has 4 that are really easy to pipe
Lilies (EP1) - Waterfall Tears, room in start of Caves2 has 5 Lilies, go to the locked door to the right 4 appear for a total of 9, bring Resist/Devils if in Ultimate
Slimes - Addicting Food, there's a Caves2 room with 2 Slimes at once, you can split them to get 8, just don't kill any Slimes or you messed it all up
Rappies (EP2) - start Temple1 with the smashers in the first room, head right, kill the 2 Dimenians, leave the 3 Rappies, go to the south of the room, face north and pipe (stand next to one Rappies spot
Lilies (EP2) - start Temple1 with the smashers, go right, kill all, go north, kill all, flip switch, go west, kill 2 Dimenians, leave Lilies alon on other side of the gap, go south to smasher room again, go west, kill Dimenians and Lilies, go north, kill all, flip switch, return to the gap room, cross the bridge, halfway across 3 Lilies appear with 2 Dimenians and an Assassin, kill everything but the Lilies, there are 5 Lilies (2 original, 3 new ones), stand at south end of bridge and face north and pipe (stand next to one Lily)
Hilde's (EP2) - start Temple1 with a Rappy and 2 Lilies in the first room, proceed on regularly, eventually you reach a room with some La Dimenains and 2 Assassins, kill them, then some Lilies and Dimenians and La Dimenians appear, kill them, then 2 Hilde's jump down, stand near the door and pipe them

I gave away all my spare rares to my friend who was starting out...
Also, why would you need 2 Oritagitos?
