Live 8 - mr_shoe_uk - 06-07-2005 I think (and I can't see why many would disagree) they've gone about this the right, it is not only aid that needs to be got, but people need to be made aware that trading with Africa by richer nations is unfair, and there seemingly are a lot of crooked leaders, who pocket much aid for themselves. YES! Thank you, someone who gets what it's all about. LOL! Live 8 - K_I_R_E_E_K - 07-07-2005 do you see it or not double edge...........(i don't know the word in inglish) the less rich have *******(the word, maybe if i check a dictionary) and live 8 was to show the rich so they can forgive and forget the ******($$$$) Live 8 - Archer - 07-07-2005 lol, who cares :p, It's not a show for the rich, anyone can go to a concert if they are less forturnate. There are always budget seats and such but Live 8 is different. Perhaps someone else can argue with him since I don't really know much about it ^_^. Live 8 - A.S. - 07-07-2005 Yes, regardless of who hosts it (MTV/VH1? meh). It's still for a good cause, ironically at Live 8, barely anyone was there :( I expected the opposite. Live 8 - Double Edge - 07-07-2005 There were 600,000 people at Philidelphia's Live 8, and at least 150,000 at each of the others. That's a lot. Live 8 - Sephiroth Now - 07-07-2005 *gives double edge a dirty look* You forgot Pink Floyd!
Live 8 - colohue - 08-07-2005 My favourites in Live 8 were The Who. I was expected them to play "My Generation" but even though they didn't I was far from disappointed. Their song just went on and on. |
