No character type sucks on PSO. They are designed to do certain things and when trained properly any character can be a good one. All this FOmar and FOmarl bashing is pure foolishness. FOmars and FOmarls are designed to be different. I've taken advantage of that difference with my FOmarl and now she is a valuable addition to a team and performs better than any of my other characters when she is alone.
I've seen a few FOmarls and FOmars online that I've played with and the people that have figured out how to take advantage of their difference have proven to be excellent players. So don't tell me that they suck I know otherwise from being an experienced user of a FOmarl.
I have a FOnewearl too and frankly, my FOmarl did a better job when she hit Ultimate.

good job pink. but unfortunetly people that listen to only 200's and go totally by stats would completely disagree and say ramarl pwns all humars suck and fomarls suck too.
^by the way thats not me -__-, thats somebody else. imo some chars are not good as others but not like omg this one pwns yours. and i think a lot of chars are overrated and people think they are better than they really are *cough* ramarl *cough* sad thing is everybody on these forums and everybody that plays pso disagrees with me. o well though. lifes a beach. everybody never agrees with anybody.

Time for a hardcore FOmar user to step in! Ok, first of all, a Fomar's max ATA is 163, not 160. Secondly FOmars and FOmarls do not suck. I've found FOnewns to be the most useless class out of the forces. Sure they work offline, but online a FOmar or FOmarl is better suited than a FOnewn. I'd have to agree that FOnewearls are the best Force, but if you make the character right, and have the right equiment, any force can top the others.
About the whole getting hit thing, just shut up. At high levels and level 30 deband and jellen, you'll take little to no damage. My FOmar takes absolutely no damge at all online in Forest, Caves, and Mines[except for the elemental attacks and boss attacks.] Normal enemy attacks does 0 damage with the exception of a Sinow, which takes about 20 from me.
Overall in this debate, it's no contest, FOmar>FOnewn. End of story.

:/ you know you were mostly talking about how great fomars are which we already knew that fos were good -__-. but fonewms have even more def so theyd get only like 10 from sinow and zero from all else. and no offense to you either but you made no sense. first you said with the right equipment ANY fo can be better than the other which means that fonewm can be better than fomar if they had the right equipment. then youre saying fomars are better when fonewms. *confusion*... i think they are about even it just depends what type of force you want to be.

Lol, what I meant is like I said any force can be better than another with the right equipment, yes. However FOmars are generally better than FOnewns if they have the same equipment. Yes techs can do their bit of damage, but they don't do as much damage in ultimate, the most important area to have it of all. FOmars can both melee and cast for a decent amount of damage, whereas FOnewns can melee, but does little damage. Plus FOmars are a better support class. So like I said in the end, FOmar>FOnewn.
*Edit: Just disregard me, I read one of your posts wrong. I thought you were talking about something else. Lol I don't even know why I brought up the defense thing. I must have been thinking about a different topic like earlier today where they were mentioning poor defense as a big factor. XD

good point there mdbrim, i guess i will keep my fomar. they do seem superior to fonewm (pretty much even but then theres the melle fact) but i spose i could make a fonewm to see who i like the most.

Listen to Pink, these characters weren't designed to have one uber powerful one out the lot and one that sucks.
Some are for those who like challenges, others for beginners. Waste of time debating like this..

Yeah it's better to just make both like you said. evryone has their different tastes. A FOmar just suits my tastes, but a FOnewn could suit yours. XD*Edit: BTW, I do agree with Pink

yes i agree to. she has a good way of viewing things.
and fonewms dont suit my taste i dont think, havent made one yet and i think the farthest i got one to was 2. XD but im not sure if im gonna be able to get used to teh big ass homosexual-ness :/.
