In other words, that means that i agree entirely. No difference in opinion whatsoever.

I play because it's a great game and it lasts a long time. I have a ton of games, but none compare to the replay value PSO has to offer.

What makes it such a great game for you, FOREVER1? Is it the story, or the play style, or is it just the replayability?

Welll I play because its one of the fue things here in my area that we really can do. I can't really go anywhere because my dad lives to far a way. So pritty much PSO is one of the fue things we can gather a fue friends up and start playing. Its fun watching new people be curious and wanna play but, it gets annoying having to spend the 100k+ in cash to level them up lol.

Always funny when ya go to the moment of "my character isn't strong enough" so you take the controller for a sec and beat the boss they had problems with and point out what they could of done. (Though they usually get a little fustraited cause of me telling them how to do it all the time.)

=(o-o)= Anyhow I play to play, sure I don't have access to the internet with it or any chance to really play it other then offline due to it being my friend's game and all. Just one of the forms of enterntaiment we got. (Stupid US goverment and thier "network")

I still play to get inspiration to continue my PSO fanfics.Tongue
I currently have three stories, a one-shot(posted on this site) and two crossovers.

One powerful hunter from ep 1, 2 and 3 posing as Harry Potter.
After the goblet of Fire trailer versus the dragon, I thought of a hunter saying "Not another dragon", and It never left me since.

and a Star Wars one.
since the weapons used in PSO looked like the ones used SW.
Darth Maul eat your heart out!!

Personally, I prefer to let them learn the secrets for themselves. I will always offer information, but I find that people react better when they complete things for themselves.

However, I feel that it's good to be a mentor at PSO - and my friends have never declined my presents of a Red Handgun or God/Mind.

I think that this is a very interesting idea as it merges the two genres of game and literature. Furthermore, it has hearkenings to the early series of the game by giving it a story. Just how close do you stay to the crossover and veer from Phantasy Star?

I change slightly from PS(O), I mostly try to keep 'true' to the storyline, even if the other serie is more dominant.
My story 'Lightsabers and Brands', a Star Wars Crossover, for instance uses characters from PSO ep 1 but more skilled.
My character Shawn 'Inferno' Flame has the ability to discharge a massive fireattack, at the cost of more TP.
I thought that the seven year journey must have brought a little more then Foie lvl 1 and a three-step attack.

Like-wise my Harry Potter crossover, 'Magical Photon', uses Shawn somewhere in Ep3.
He is a hunter who can use every type of weapon, but never had the need to do so.
Can wield 200 items (gift for beating ep 2).
He is a double-spy, for both Arkz and Hunters.

In LS-B he is sure of himself but not too. and he sees Anakin as a son.
In MP he is one of the best and is less dependent of a 'Wand' althrough he will use the PSO kind.
Agewise he's 30+ hunter in the body of an Eleven year old.
Now that's brainwashing!Tongue

I also experimented on how I wrote Dark fics, Red Ring Rico is the result.
I've posted it on this site also.

That all sounds very interesting - I like the way in which you pick up on the less explained things and make them your own. Also, if it helps you to enjoy the game, then all the better.

I am quite interested in reading your fanfics now - if you so desire you would be able to post them on my Ep3 forum (of which the link is in my signature) where I've created a new Fan Works section.
