It's like that with the TOY HAMMER also. It's actually pretty good early on with its ATP. But, it has 1ATA.
In other words, it's just a strong piece of crap.

Well... I wouldn't really call it "crap". My Panther Claws only have 38ATA yet still hit reliably and do pretty decent damage on my HUnewearl, so I imagine the Toy Hammer wouldn't be too much worse, especially on a HUcaseal.
The Maracas on the other hand... 1ATA is much worse on ranged weaponry because ranged weaponry is generally less accurate to begin with. Darn pre-programmed accuracy. XD

i have the game magazne and the wand was not made for leet's but for noobs, i guess the toy hammer or the maracas have low requirements to be used

Awww, quit being so harsh.
It's quite obvious that those weapons are designed for looks and not for strength. I mean, there's novelty items all over the place... even new ones on Blue Burst like the Cat Ears and Bunny Ears. They have almost no stats whatsoever, but they alter your appearance at the cost of wearing a really useless (stat-wise) shield. Hehe.

I do actually... cause I notice it when actually fighting. The easiest example being... my Panther Claws hitting significantly more often with a hard attack than a set of mechs with a good 50 more ATA... but here's my thoughts on it... I think it only works that way because blade weapons don't take into account if the enemy is moving around or not, whereas bullets have to travel, thus leaving more room for inaccuracy. XD Dunno, I'm just judging from personal experience.

I'm not sure how to respond to that. Mechs hit 9 times through one combo, there's alot more room for misses simply because they rapid-fire. Use a handgun to have a look. I doubt it'd miss more than your other weapons.
Mechguns might have a lower accuracy ratio on their attacks, however.
