the online rules, as no one seems to know them... even legit people - Schoichet - 21-12-2004 no it shouldnt, its a link to some thing people should know as they aggre to it when ever they go online the online rules, as no one seems to know them... even legit people - misterbud - 21-12-2004 Unfortunately, you are wrong, Sega Team could actually make a patch, in theory. But, it would require them making it a mandatory thing in order to connect to the game servers. The patch downloads, saves to your memory card, and patches up all the glitches people use to dupe, stack, and multi-equip. It could also cause the deletion of programs such as the Action Replay that people use to hack the game... However, this would require a lot of work on Sega Team's part. If some dedicated gamers/programmers got together and worked on it however... http://www.renguard.com This is an actual program made by gamers to stop cheats in a game called Renegade. If this link violates the site rules, please tell me and I will take it off and make a seperate topic about this. the online rules, as no one seems to know them... even legit people - Schoichet - 21-12-2004 whos wrong? you do need to click aggre to a promt that tells you to read that evry time you go online the online rules, as no one seems to know them... even legit people - misterbud - 21-12-2004 Schoichet Wrote:you cant update on the gcn once its out without a recall and the gc vr. is ALMOST just a port from the dc... When you said this, you were mistaken. That was who was wrong, sorry, I'm a few pages late .I know, but lets be real, nobody actually reads that every single time they go online. I know I don't. I would guess that you don't either. the online rules, as no one seems to know them... even legit people - Schoichet - 21-12-2004 no, i never even noteiced it was there till a few weaks ago, thats why i posted it lol and when i said patch i meen like they can do on the x-box where they actuly re-right the game and all that stuff(i dont know exactly how it works) the online rules, as no one seems to know them... even legit people - misterbud - 21-12-2004 They really CAN rewrite the game, just make it a mandatory pop up window that comes up when you connect to the internet, and re-write the memory card file. It could also check for hacked items already on the card, and delete those items that are gained illigetamately. There really is no limit to what they COULD do. It's just that they obviously don't care enough to do anything. It could not however, rewrite the disc. But if it deletes the hacked items, it's at least a start... |
