And another thing I just remembered:

Episode 3 is 21 years after Episode 1. If the episodes do go one after another, wouldn't the people of Pioneer 2 have aged slightly? Momoka appears to be the same age in both Episodes 1 & 4...

Episodes 1, 2 and 4 take place at the same time, more or less. Episode 3 takes place 21 years after, though.

And in outer space the affects of gravity don't apply to you as heavy as they do on a massive block of matter, thus nullifying aging affects. Or drastically reducing them.
