Putting aside your irrational hatred of illegits, the fact that I own a legit double cannon can mean only one of three things: (a) that I have a disturbing amount of time to hunt the ingredients, (b) that I have incredible luck, or © that I have a lot of patience to pipe it. I happened to get it through the third option. Either way, none of this says anything about how "good" I am. >_>

O_o Two votes for me Sebastian? *blushes* This is the second forum that has done a topic like this... my HUnewearl got votes there too, but never my FOmarl.
Well, Nomad, items don't automatically mean the person has lots of skill yes, but they DO allow the person to play more skillfully. Deal out more damage, hit better, etc and so forth. But as you're trying to say... a person can have the items, but if they don't have the brains to use it properly, it won't do anything for them. At least, that's if I understand you correctly.
My characters need their best equipment to function well, this allows me to help out in a team as best I can.
I "think" I understood you right, but feel free to correct me.

Why do RAmars suck? They may not be as good soloing as RAmarls, but when played in a group with a good force with high S/D/J/Z they can do more damage and hit more. I do just fine with mine solo anyways.

cuz i felt like saying that n.n;.
and ramarls do better soloing lvl 20 s/d AND j/z vs. lvl 15 s/d... >_. and ramarls have more evasion, more mst, better animations for most stuff, chicks can use better weps on bb, (flap jack flapper (unreduced gush); viveinne (chick double saber, strong as s-rank twin?))...
but anyway, all the ramars i played with sucked :l... and i yet to play with them in ult too many racasts and ramarls...

And yeah, pink, I did mean the brains to use them right... and the brains to play the game in a decent manner. Weps can increase the damage you do, but power != skill either, necessarily. There may be a correlation there, because often if you DO get such items legitimately you have to spend a lot of time doing so... but not necessarily.
