New Web Game: Phantasy Star Online Indocron - nomercy - 28-02-2006 I agree with Forge. For now,at least,i don't have access to online PSO unless i download BB.This game directly concerns PSO,and therefore it should be allowed to be posted here. Many people advertise their websites in their sigs,me included. If it is bad to make one thread about a site, then how bad is it with the people that have links in their sigs?A lot of people post 5,10,20 times a day,in different threads. That means their site is getting publicity everywhere. You can't ban someone for that, and if you did, most of Ragol would be gone. My advice is to think before you act. New Web Game: Phantasy Star Online Indocron - Teh EkwEE - 28-02-2006 No, it's unwarranted because that profile was only made to advertise that site, if he's an active member, than I have no problem with it. But he isn't, he posted one thing, THAT, to advertise the community he's a part of. If it was a normal person advertising, say, PSOWorld, then yes a warning would be the issue. IF that person advertised and neglected to read the rules. It's the same goddamn thing as if someone advertised rotten.com. True, it has relevance to PSO, that is a valid point, but advertising is advertising. And that warrants a warning at the least. Creating a profile on this site for that expressed purpose is warrant for banning. If he didn't know, like I said, then we'd respond: "Put that in your sig and don't let it happen again. 1 warning." But it was registered for the intent of advertising. Don't dare to accuse me of not using common sense before I posted that. I thought for a good 35 minutes on what I should do....I used common sense and that's what I came up with. Jarl: 'Politically correct'? Do you know how many times I've been called down for the exact opposite? More times than I care to count. So how 'bout we think about what we (as in you) think before we type semi-flame bait towards a Mod that IS grounds for warning/banning depending on severity. So that's my politically correct way of me telling you to go shove it up your ass. Anti-Hacker: YAH RLY!?!? Don't any of you confuse me for some idiot. You all should know I'm the most laid back of the mods and the last to get on any body with any sort of threats. That's all I've got to say. If one of the other Mods wants to lock this, so be it, but I'm done with the issue. Edit: Note he uses PC v 1 and still only has one post..... New Web Game: Phantasy Star Online Indocron - whiteninja - 01-03-2006 About him having one post... Do you know how many people have only one post because they asked a question in a thread and never bothered to check it? Do you know how many people have 0 posts? (541; I checked.) Really though, this thread could be locked now... everyone who would bother to try it has the link already. I think that this would actually merit it's own forum section though, seeing as how it is PSO, and how it is a completely different PSO. New Web Game: Phantasy Star Online Indocron - Teh EkwEE - 01-03-2006 I have not the power to lock this thread....Pm Kef or Ria. New Web Game: Phantasy Star Online Indocron - whiteninja - 01-03-2006 Of course you don't. If you did, you would have locked it to begin with. If this thread should be locked, either Kekfa or Ria will do it by their own judgment. That is their job as Mods. Has anyone gotten to Dark Falz yet on Indocron? (I have never seen the Dragon.) New Web Game: Phantasy Star Online Indocron - MarioVet - 01-03-2006 but i dont think kef or ria are active anymore D:. i still haven't got my verification code. i checked "bulk" but it's not there either... I think he meant it'd be ok to have it in his sig, but not make a topic advertising it. |
