Character class pronunciations - Noir - 13-04-2006 I noticed I too pronounce Hunter names like Hyu, but I do it for all Hunter classes. Rangers like Rah and Forces like Foe. I think once you say it, it's stuck. I got started by some friends who spoke like that, and now even seeing the Japanese pronounciation, I still can't seem to say it right. Like Chocobo. I started when I was little, like 9, saying the CH like in chocolate. So now, when ffX says it like a K, it just hurts my ears even though I know I'm wrong. I know how ha is pronounced in Japanese... but for some reason I did think in my head hanter with the English instead of Japanese. "hanter" lol that looks funny, makes good sense when prononounced properly. So I know a good one, how is Siefer pronounced in ff8? I say sefer, some say saifer, so should it actually be like "safer"?
