hmm I should have said that sooner, my bad.
I tried it, as I always test out what I say.
I grabbed a 1304 mag, went offline, hard mode (easiest rare drops in Hard mode) found a rare first room.
I went online, solo, Hard mode again, found a rare quite soon.
I asked 3 non PSO+ friends to join me we launched a quest so the server reboots, we found 2 rares in the first rooms.
I discarded the hacked mag, it does not affect EpI&II (all rares are handled the same, from 9 to 12 stars, on all difficulties).

were you equipping it? If not, then is it possible if an EP1/2+ person had duped the one i had, would that prevent me from finding rares? because i swear from level 110-123 i didnt find anything and it could not have been bad luck and not coincidentally start dropping rares as soon as i unequip the thing.
