The point of cheating - Anti Hacker - 24-11-2004 DarkMagician Wrote:Hackers and Dupers are truly unpopular around here, no?Truly they are, but sometimes they have their uses... I mean if your a low lvl and you hit a boss once they can finish it off in seconds with the old *uber high damage* and you get a load of exp before the boss can even hit you. This can be a great way to lvl up when combined with TTF And if anyones going to say "Thats non legit exp!" Theni think youre taking the whole legit thing too far.
The point of cheating - Impact - 25-11-2004 I would only cheat once or twice to get a very rare weapon. My friend who swore never to cheat decided to cheat as he spent a whole week looking for a psycho wand... lol The point of cheating - Steppenwolf - 25-11-2004 This is starting to get hillarious!!!!
The point of cheating - Impact - 25-11-2004 Cheating isn't bad if you don't overdo it... The point of cheating - Anti Hacker - 25-11-2004 sure it is! You wont be respected if you dont earn what you got! Anyway, to be hardcore you gotta use green photon weapons! YEAH! (having said that you dont get respect anyway, so meh)
The point of cheating - masterofchaos - 26-11-2004 I dont think if use a hacked weapon u r a hackers cause arnt hackers the ones who go in there and use the code to get what they want but still hackers r evil The point of cheating - DarkMagician - 26-11-2004 What about a cheat for 5% extra EXP? that would be pretty cool...damned cheating..but cool... The point of cheating - Steppenwolf - 26-11-2004 You can already get something like 17% extra experience with a Devil's weapon I believe. I like the Devil Vulcan's, also devil's arms for rangers you can hit several each time and get a lot of experience. Aleway's wondered if it was worth it since it takes longer to kill using the special hit. The point of cheating - Impact - 26-11-2004 I have a friend that spent a week trying to get a Psycho Wand. He gave up, so he used a AR or somethin'. It isn't too bad as long as you don't cheat for everything. -I say "piping" _My friend (tired of trying to pipe for P. Wand) says "aaaaaaarrrrrrrrggggggghhhhhhh!!!" *Hides in corner* lol
The point of cheating - Namillus - 26-11-2004 Everyone says that if they discover an item they own is hacked/duped, they "Destroy" it... How does one go about doing this? There are, I believe, two ways: 1. Recreate the character holding the item. Rather wasteful, isn't it? 2. Drop the item, then start a quest/quit the game. Am I right? Oh, any and all of my characters are Offline-Only, so no, I'm not asking this out of personal experience... I hate hacking/cheating anyway... Oh, and Steppenwolf, the weapons you refer to are titled "King's", not "Devil's", and the EXP bonus is 12%. I have a pair of King's Vulcans on my character at the moment, and they're actually pretty good, so long as I don't try shooting up Bartles with the special... "Devil's" weapons halve enemy HP, I believe. How can EXP be non-legit? People can be so weird... Wait, I think I see. It's kind of indirect, roundabout, but... The game gives out EXP based on difficulty level and progress in-game. Thus, if, say, my Lv 86 HUnewearl were to enter a game with Lv 120+ Hackers/Dupers who've unlocked Ult Ruins (Which she could never handle, heck, she can't even survive the Caves), score a hit, then have a Duper kill the target, she just got... 350 + EXP just for scoring a hit on an Arlan, much easier than she would have were she on her own. Thus, EXP gained for an under-levelled character abusing hackers/dupers can be classified as "Non-Legit Experience"... which actually seems ridiculous in a real-world sense. |
