It is rather true indeed. A perfect team consists of two hunters, a ranger, and a force.
And sure, it may have been unwise, but I like a battle when the odds are against me. But I see this ignorant post stating that rangers have useless hunter and force teammates, I have no choice but to act upon it. Sure, I may have been blunt, but whatever. And how would I be able to keep track on if a ranger takes my kills or not? There are about 30 monsters in each room later on, and well, I wouldn't be sitting by my TV with a scratchboard while playing.
And Ria. Every village needs its idiot. *revives, puts her on chemotherapy*

As opposed to people that flame them? I agree that this thread is rather pointless, but... please, don't encourage him. ¬_¬
I'll say one thing about "keeping each other alive:" it's quite possible for one character to go in and beat up everything in a room sometimes, even in multi. Now, I don't have much experience in multi with rangers (with the exception of my RAmarl, who was so much more powerful than the people I was playing with that time, I ended up going unarmed
)... but it seems to me that a ranger with, say, a shot, can be very useful. I mean, my RAmar has a God/Battle and a Meteor Smash... for cover-providing I could probably keep the enemies in "hurt" animation more often than not.But of course it can be the other way around, too... my Hunter friends could hack away from a distance with a slicer while I go and melee with the Delsaber combo or the Soul Eater, for instance. Point is, never play the same way every time, it just gets boring.

1. I never said FOrces sucked...
2. RAngers have the most HP of all classes. Racast is #1, Racaseal is #2, Ramar is #4 and RAmarl is by far not the least.
3. RAngers might not do the most damage, but give the most damage because they can shoot from afar.
4. RAngers can stand their own ground with their dfp, do not forget deband boost and Racaseal and Racast having the highest dfp!
5. I would bet a team of consisting of out of every type of RAnger would pwn everyone.
6. FOrces multihitting techs do less damage because of the highly improved magic resistance in Multiplayer.
