And that's exmactly why these evil news reporters shouldn't blame anything! Wherever there is... something, there is a way that it could be dangerous! Should we ban teddy bears because their stuffing could be used to choke people?! They're cute!

Humans arent 100% perfect, there are flaws here and there but majority are ok *twitch*.
That said, I think people just over react and not really processing the information thoroughly. As stated, the boy was wet and it is water plus a open (on) socket that connected and electrified him. How come they're blaming Nintendo and the whole industry? Talk about lame. I bet the parents think the same too. Its like my dads friend who just bid, bid till his out of money and the whole family is suffering, guess who the wife blames? everyone around her.
Talking about electricity, halve of Harlow has a blackout (apparently) and my lights keep dimming and such. Talk about scary...

We should ban shoes. We can kick people when we're wearing them. In fact, lets ban feet! If you have feet, you must have them amputated. I hope it never goes that far, the whole argument is out of hand enough already.

:O You're on to something! Physical objects and entities can harm people! We should ban them all! Powercuts are dangerous, to save people the shock of a powercut, let's ban electricity. Then no power cuts can ever occur XD and don't get me started on stuffing
it's the fluffy inside marsh-mallowy-like goodness of the devil!Seriously though I think this whole issue just goes to prove that media hype exists to make profit not for the good of the people or society. People want to know what dangers are worth avoiding, so it's inevitable that when the media run out of real dangers to tell people of they use hype (or as I call it, LIES) to scare people into buying their products.

Nothing could make me stop playing video games (especially PSU) unless they have bombs inside the systems or something. Please tell me my PS2 won't explode! I know, let's ban bombs. And guns. And natural disasters. And mosquitos. And sickness. Anyone that is sick, has been sick, or will be sick in the future should be put in quarantine. And ban stupidity too. No wait, don't send me away!

banning life? are you out of your mind? the answer OBVIOUSLY lies with god. Therefor, we should ban god. Some people think that science is responsible for life as well, so just to make sure, we should ban science as well. While we're at it, we could ban excercise- just think, all those people going out and putting themselves at danger! also, did you know, 50% of consumers of fresh air die BEFORE the average life expectancy! BAN AIR!! >:C
