Come on please post the next part Feline. Aurora Block - DarkMagician - 07-12-2004 Feline! Hayaku! Post soon, or a mod will close the thread! Come on! Put your back into it! Aurora Block - Feline Witch - 07-12-2004 OK, just for all you lovely people. ^_^ Lazuli awoke some hours later. Her back creaked, and she had lost all feeling in her cheek and stomach. She scowled. Some friends! Not waking her up. Muttering to herself, she dragged on her clothes. A walk around town would be what she needed. Stomping to her door, she whistled loudly for her sato. "Coming?" she demanded. The Sato gave a sleepy mew, and burrowed further into the duvet. "Suit yourself." Lazuli said sulkily. She stepped out of her room. There was no sound of the other residents. At first Lazuli glared angrily. Then this turned into a sneaky grin. She tiptoed into the kitchen, just in case. She removed several boxes from the shelves. Cunningly hidden under some mixed nuts and crackers, was a box of pop tarts. Lazuli peeped under the lid, gloating over her secret treat stash. Melody and Erina had not looked very hard, and Pleione did not even know about Lazuli's true love. "Cinnamon? Vanilla? Marshmellow? Ooooh! Lazuli wants this one!" she cackled. A strawberry was plonked in the microcooker. Lazuli peered anxiously at the door, fearing that a pair of eyes was spying. She carefully put each item back in order, and her stash was hidden from view. A ping announced the tart's toasting. Lazuli bit its head off, carefully savouring its sweet entrails. Aurora Block - DarkMagician - 08-12-2004 Meanwhile, DarkMagician kept spying through the keyhole, dissapointed that the women had remembered to keep their clothes on... Aurora Block - DarkMagician - 09-12-2004 Suddenly, one of the girls comes near the door, as though she sensed him. "Bugger" DarkMagician said to himself, ashe teleports away just as the girl opens the door. Aurora Block - Feline Witch - 09-12-2004 Pervert. But I can guide you to the street corner, there are some HUnewearl hookers there. But bewarey, their pimp is a RAcast. He rips in half people who do not pay their bills. With her contented stomach gurgling, Lazuli took the elevator to the front door. She could not help but sigh. The air was so sterile. She could taste the recycled feel in it. Her lungs wept for the breath of a living planet. She shook her head, she was pining for the impossible. Newmans longed for Ragol's soil more then any other of Pioneer 2's residents. The Newmans had orignally been intended as organic weapons, creatures born for technical combat. Human science infused them with pieces of the natrual world, the closest world to the spirtual. Newman DNA consisted of flora and fauna, of rocks and water and wind. Thousands of fragments of mother earth sculpted this very race, blessing them with the primal power of techniques. Humans were baffled by their own creation, creatures of great wisdom and spirtual energy. Because much of their being were shards of their mother planet, Newmans had a strong connection with the natrual world. They could feel the heartbeats of creatures, creatures that humans would trample underfoot. They could count tree-rings by placing their fingertips on the bark. They could taste any posion in water. And now they were sealed in an artifical city, nature was dead, lost forever on a fragment of rock called Coral. The food crops were smothered in pesticides, the air and water was recycled constantly, each time the power of the godess was washed away. Lazuli sighed, and no warm zephyr was dancing in her hair, only the stale breath of an air vent. How long till Ragol? Aurora Block - Feline Witch - 09-12-2004 An ember sparkled and died on her outstretched palm. That was the trouble with being a newman. The power within them was incredibly unstable. Not using techniques for long periods could result in health problems. But you had to be careful. A thougtless foie would result in the anti-newman brigade labelling you a pyromaniac. Well, Newmans were probably closet pyromaniacs. They all loved to set small things on fire, candy wrappers, dead leaves. Or freeze, or zap them, dependeing on your taste. Human children often turned the magnifying glass on bugs. Newman children were used foie or barta on them. Even though they were connected to nature, like many children, they did not mind squishing one or two ants. Aurora Block - DarkMagician - 11-12-2004 Sorry Feline Witch, but I must get this off my chest, WHO DELETED YET ANOTHER OF MY POSTS??? YOU COWARD! AT LEAST REVEAL YOURSELF! THIS IS BARBARIC! Aurora Block - Feline Witch - 11-12-2004 Ssssh. You might get into tons of trouble for that. |
