What about a Photon Blast Launcher? it shoots out random blasts but has a low accuracy rate, and it drains up your photon blast gauge. just an idea

What about more detailed character customisation? a bit like the tony hawks underground face-mapping, you could send a digital picture of your face to sonic team then they'd send it back via pso and you could select it when creating a new char. it would be pretty good unless ur dead ugly and your scared of puttin ur face on...
