Nintendo in 2004! - Lee-yoshi - 15-04-2004 lol, like i said, i've got/played every single Mario Party game to date, and the mini-games are better on each one. Mario Party 5 i've only played a few times, not very long at all, and i've had it since its release! The amount of mini-games i've unlocked is very small, but from what i have played, they're funny as hell! Mario Party games are only worth buying now if your going to play them multi-player. [EDIT] Some more nice news on Metroid Prime 2 for all who were wondering, its pratically confirmed that the game will have a Multiplayer Split Screen Mode aswell as a Single Player Mode when released later this year. Maybe something else to look out for and prepared to be wowed by at E3. Nintendo in 2004! - PSO Phreak - 24-05-2004 When will Nintendo stop making those god-awful Mario Party games? Not really much in the way of RPGs this year; not really Nintendo's strong point, but still... Anyways, I am really not all that impressed with the 'Cube this year. Nintendo DS is where it's at. Nintendo in 2004! - Lee-yoshi - 09-06-2004 Hold your breathe there PSO_Phreak! Nintendo have, if you haven't heard already, been upto some quite innovative things this year! Therefore they go in the 2004 thread! GBA Video!
Firstly the GBA Video. If you are unaware of what exactly this is, basically Majesco have started this trend by producing GBA versions of popular T.V. Series on GBA Cartridges so anyone can watch their favourite TV episodes on their GBA anywhere they go! Nintendo are also set to follow suit by releasing more in the same line of familiar programmes:
These are to be released very soon in America if not already out. Not word on an EU release, i suppose it depends how popular they are in the States. Import Madness has a full list of all the GBA Video's. Click here to go over there! ---------------------------------------------------
Who needs controllers!
Another recent innovation if you believe Mr. Iwata and his strange words is that you will be able to play Mario Party 6 when released without the need for a controller! :S Who knows what he's rambling on about but here's an inquisitive quote to get your mind thinking: "In the past, there have been people who have felt controllers are hard to deal with and did not play games, but this will seek to appeal to those people"
Maybe this also has a relation to the 'Nintendo Revolution' which is Nintendo's new name for their next home console, previously refered to as the 'N5'. However Mario Party 6 is still cued in for a Nintendo Gamecube release... Maybe it's got something to do wth another innovation of theirs... ---------------------------------------------------
Nintendo making their own Eye-Toy? This was discovered by many not long ago when they came across some strange trademarks Nintendo have registered. Amoung the list were 'Manebito/Camera' & 'Ningen-Copy/Manebito' which were also accompanied with the pictures below: ![]() ![]() Hmmm.. interesting indeed! With the bottom picture it would seem as if there's a little scenario being re-inacted which could describe the nature of this new product/products. From left to right there's a person using a camera of some sort linking to what can be described as a Nintendo Gamecube, going back to another person who's obviously being filmed! No doubt something to listen out for, and something which would definately change the Mario Party series if it was to be used instead of a controller! Nintendo in 2004! - Matt-Moonwalker - 02-07-2004 Nintendo's own Eye toy!?, That sounds great to me!
Nintendo in 2004! - Lee-yoshi - 02-07-2004 Yep, it's a pretty dam good idea to me. I can't wait to play around with it if thats what it really is! ^_^ Nintendo in 2004! - Matt-Moonwalker - 03-07-2004 And instead of those funny little characters, they could have Nintendo ones!
Nintendo in 2004! - Lee-yoshi - 18-08-2004 Hold onto your hats people, Nintendo of Europe just let out a Christmas Release Date list so you can all save now! Release Date Knockout!
