Nintendo Revolution - Wootem Ace - 15-05-2005

I'm just worried if it will equal up to XB360 and PS3.....I don't want it to be like Dreamcast all over again, Dreamcast was too good to go down. I do, however want the Revolution to have the same kind of feel as the Dreamcast (those who have played know what I mean, especially on Sonic, Shenmue, Power Stone, etc.).

Nintendo Revolution - Lee-yoshi - 15-05-2005

I hope it gives off that feel aswell, as i think Nintendo would be the company that would have kept the Dreamcast alive because it was financially fitter then SEGA, and have now grown better partnerships with third party publishers, such as Square-Enix, Namco, and EA. This will no doubt make for some grade-A releases that every gamer would want to own!

As to your post Blade, how could i disagree with such a point of view! Apart from all the South Africa stuff, i was in pretty much the same situation as you. In fact i didnt have enough to own a Nintendo64 from day one, so i rented it out, time and time again, and again, and no-one could ever reclaim the TV because it was constantly fixed with Mario Kart 64 on the screen. I loved that game, and still do. My nan bought me one in the end Tongue

As to the Nintendo Gamecube... Super Smash Brothers Melee, again, totally agree. Nintendo Revolution will no doubt step up the games once again to something we could never imagine or dream until we actually play it and see it for ourselves. The day when Revolution launches, ill need some tissue paper Tongue

Nintendo Revolution - Archer - 16-05-2005

This is (again!) off Gamespot.com
the Link --> http://hardware.gamespot.com/Story-ST-x-1939-x-x-x&tag=gs_ps3_topslot_click&body_pagenum=4

It looks interesting but doesn't really say anything too significant that we cant' already imagine.

Nintendo Revolution - Lostthought144 - 16-05-2005

wow E3 is only a couple of days away and they now it seems to be miles away...I cant wait to see how nintendo is planing on pulling me in once more with its magic...i have been reading alot on the topic and people seemed to convinced that they are going for a new all out controler again with this system...personally, I love nintendo controler and thats something im going to look for in revolution

Nintendo Revolution - Lee-yoshi - 16-05-2005

Looking at Nintendo.co.uk they've changed their little flash advert again to an E3 countdown, stating just how far away 'the future' is. Aparently its in 1 day, 7 hours, and just over 30 minutes from this post... Cool! ^_^

Nintendo Revolution - God-IX - 16-05-2005

so close....but yet..so far away..of course the controllers will be changed..they have in every system so far

Nintendo Revolution - Blade ver2.0 - 16-05-2005

Wait... it has online capabilities built in right? Does that mean we can still play PSO and go online like the Gamecube version? That would be shaveet. Tongue

Nintendo Revolution - God-IX - 16-05-2005

I guess that would make sense...I wouldn't doubt it.

Nintendo Revolution - Lostthought144 - 16-05-2005

hehe i never thought about that...this could make me oplay pso more if its wireless o_O

Nintendo Revolution - Lee-yoshi - 16-05-2005

Yes, its backwards compatable and with built in internet capabilities - So you can play PSO online from day one Tongue
