My favorite technique would have to be Rabarta.
It helped me out in the Ruins today. I was trapped in between 3 Dimenians and a Chaos bringer. They kept hitting me, and I kept healing. Finally, I casted Rabarta, froze about half of them, killed the ones that were frozen with my Spread needle, and ran out of there.

once i haved 31 edk and the ob lily kill me, now i'm with 42edk and still haven't try (better prevent).
in general a good lvl of megid is usefull in vhard but if you see all the tecks in vhard are good.
one question, how much damage can you do with a teck in ultimate?

My L185 GC-FOnl thought Ra techniques were a lot more useful in VH, since they cleared spawns in a few seconds. :3
As for your question, you may want to try PSOW's tech damage calculator or something.

I do around 800 dmg with lv.30 Grants on a Hard Booma with around 950 MST.
That's with my lv.20 FOnewearl with Dancing Hitogata.
I'm not sure how much dmg it will do on Ultimate though....

but gibarta hits in a shot(mini) not in a line, gibartas saved my fomars live quite alot on my hunewearl gibarta does more then barta.
it would do 2-3 times less depending on the enemy used on.my grants does 300 on a bartle but 850 on a hildlt.

grants takes a bit of time to cast and 300 on a bartle is very good and 800 on a hildelt it's even better.
