I bought both version 1 and 2 but version 1 didn't work online and version 2 I haven't tried yet. I think the Dreamcast has been comletely shutdown (in US for sure which is where I'm at)

thats the bad thing about buying used online games. the serial number is usually not on it, or the person u bought it from doesn't have it. do people still play the pso version on the dc?

I can't go online except for my Gamecube PSO 1-2, and ep 3. I don't own XBOX (thank god) and Dreamcast servers in the US for PSO have been shutdown so I can't take either of my PSO versions online for the DC.
