Nintendo in 2004! - Lee-yoshi - 19-08-2004 Heh, Banjo Kazooie was a game that everyone loved! But Rare are now gone... (How i hate and despise Microsoft) so if itll be anywhere itll be on Xbox. I havent heard any news of a BK game on Xbox, maybe theyve decided to give the series a rest for the mo. Then again the series is of a kids genre which is why it fitted so well in Nintys line-up. Rare are still releasin GBA titles, and they have made some Banjo Kazooie games there, so thats as good as you'll get atm im afraid
Nintendo in 2004! - Ivan - 19-08-2004 Rare's gone?? No more donkey Kong?! Nintendo in 2004! - Dkgamer - 19-08-2004 Donkey Konga is about it i think, and i dont really care for that game too much. Donkey Kong 64 was another class game, probably even better than banjo kazooie, A DK game like DK64 on the cube would be awesome! DK rules!
Nintendo in 2004! - Ivan - 19-08-2004 And you wouldn't care much for Donkey Kong much anymore why then? You're post made no sence at all... Nintendo in 2004! - Dkgamer - 19-08-2004 Sorry for the confusion. What i meant is that donkey konga is the only upcomming DK game for the gamecube, and i dont really like donkey konga. And i would like to see a DK adventure game like DK 64 on the cube. Thats all. Hope that made more sense...... Nintendo in 2004! - Lee-yoshi - 19-08-2004 lol, Donkey Kong is still around! Its just that Rare wont be making the DK games. Namco made Donkey Konga. Its a Nintendo Franchise that Rare got permission to make a game from when they made games like Diddy Kong Racing and Donkey Kong 64, both of which were ace games! Rare will only be making Microsoft titles now though as they were bought out by Gatesy, however why theyre still making GBA titles is beyond me... Many people that used to be from Rare have quit after the company got bought out have gone on to produce titles such as Timesplitters. They've gone on to form their own little studios or work for other companies, they obviously still have the desire to produce Nintendo titles... good for them! However why Nintendo didnt make work of Rare is beyond me. Aparently they thought Rare had done all they could do and produce little new in the Ninty way... what were they thinking?!?! Nintendo in 2004! - Dkgamer - 20-08-2004 So a new DK platformer on the cube is still possible? I think thats just what the cube needs, a good DK game! Nintendo in 2004! - Lee-yoshi - 28-08-2004 There is gonna be a DK game beside Donkey Konga however Ninty have taken the innovation bit to a strange new height. Itll be a RPG controlled by using the same Bongo drums provided with Donkey Konga.... Dont Ask! But how it will work will be interesting to see. Namco are making that aswell i think. Nintendo in 2004! - Dkgamer - 10-09-2004 Quote:originaly posted by Lee-yoshi Do you know where i can get some information on this game? Nintendo in 2004! - Lee-yoshi - 10-09-2004 Sure do!
