Halo 2 - QueazyCorpse - 16-11-2004

I've got Halo 2, got it the day after it came out. It is pretty cool but it does have some issues online and offline. Bungie is working on a fix for 3 of the major problems online but 1 might not be able to fix as it is most likely a hardware issue. Offline the Foundation map (new mp map you get when you beat the game on any difficulty) does not unlock all the time (if you followed the in game tutorials, no map). There is a co-op glitch to fix this but it is kinda of a pain. More info about all these problems can be found on the bungie.net forums. :alien:

Halo 2 - UK Jester - 17-11-2004

I don't own an Xbox, or Xbrick as my partner calls it, but Halo and Halo 2 are, to me, the games that at least make me sometimes want to get one. As a dedicated Nintendo Fan I feel that for me that is a pretty cool thing - 2 games could/would make me want to get a differn't console.

I'm disappointed for the Halo 2 fans over the online glitches that might (but preferably not) be unfixable due to possible hardware glitches. It's bad enough when you are playing a great game and lazy programming spoils part of it (I love Gladius but the Gamecube version has problems with crashes in the Southern Expanse).

To all the Halo loving Xbox owners out there - may your game get the patches it needs, it's certainly an advantage over my faithful Gamecube.

I have been tempted to get an Xbox recently - but the only turnoff, bar lack of cashflow, is Microsofts apparent desire to release the Xenon asap and to not have backwards compatibility with no hard drive. Obviously these concerns are based on information I had heard a few months back.

Oh well, to all those Xbox owners out there, enjoy Halo 2.
