Boxsets of series generally around my area (and the place I go to usually) cost around 30-40$. Sometimes I will just go to the store and buy two completely random series, I have a nice rack of boxsets lined up in an empty bookshelf.Just decided to dedicate it to boxsets. Already filled up about three rows. Why pay 20$ for a DVD when you can get the series for 40?
Oh also dont even bother searching in Inuyasha for a deep plot, it was crappily put together, hence the suckiness of it all. There is no real deep meaning to anything that happens in it.

The show isn't even finished in Japan, we havent even seen Kikyou get killed!(again!) The Shinintai haven't even showed up yet! (dont think that will be for a while though..)
