It's still too easy
well, it was for the amount of crystals somepeople stored, but now they've all blown them on the quest, things should settle a little.
i forsee many arguements over dropped photon crystals in the future!

You only get one item drop in Normal difficulty, and it can be any of the rares listed, a tool item or meseta, so the odds of getting Black King Bar is rather slim.
Most BPD (official translation) prizes aren't worth obtaining, so the quest doesn't ruin the game much.
The only good prizes are Sange & Yasha and Jizai, maybe Slicer of Fanatic.
Jizai, and a few new items, are ONLY obtainable there, so that doesn't ruin it.
Vivienne no longer drops in the game, so BPD is the only way to obtain it = not unfair.
All the other drops suck:
-10 star items without % = I'd rather find my own with some %.
-armours and shields with minimum stats = I'd rather find my own with higher stats.
-the units which drop aren't good -- God/Technique and Cure units = easy drops, God/Ability = useless on BB.

There is some sort of ranking in the quest, correct? The guide here mentions SS Rank items for the quest. If you had waited and not done the quest the first day, someone probably would have made a guide with tips to help you get SS Rank, or how to make certain paths in Ultimate alot easier to do, so you could get better rares from them.

So random distribution by SS-Rank get's stuff from group X (good stuff), and anything else gets stuff from group Y (junk)? That is what I made it out to be.
Regardless though, you could have better handled harder paths in harder difficulties if you had prior knowledge of the quest.

nah, its complete the quest, get either good stuff or junk, nothing you can do to change it.
and i had knowledge of the quest beforehand, and the harder paths on harder difficulties were easy :3

"SS-Rank" refers to the items.
