It's off to Moatoob! US/(EU?) PSU gets it's 1st update! - Kisanzi - 15-11-2006 1up.com Wrote:With the release of Phantasy Star Universe for PS2, PC and Xbox 360 this past month, Sega's revived the sleepy Phantasy Star online community with the latest iteration of its online role-playing game. Since a lot of players have already hit the level cap or are at least getting very close to it, eyes are now turning to the monthly content updates Sega and Sonic Team promised gamers since online play was first announced. It looks like US players finally get that breath of fresh air everyone has been waiting for. And it's expected that the 2nd upadtes withe the advanced classes and new skill/level cap is only a couple weeks after! I don't know about everyone else, but I'm excited to get some new areas and bosses! Can't wait to see what kind of cool new stuff drops! It's off to Moatoob! US/(EU?) PSU gets it's 1st update! - Moonwraith - 16-11-2006 Matches the JP first update, Moatoob is nice, and the ability to obtain 4 and 5* Tenora weapons (and grind them!) will be great too, even though that really should have been in from the beginning. It's off to Moatoob! US/(EU?) PSU gets it's 1st update! - pink - 16-11-2006 Sega's just giving the Japanese the favoured treatment as always. They got two free months, the Halloween theme, and a bunch of updates and we got nothing, so yeah... better get used to it. Sega of America and Sega of Europe are much lazier than Sega of Japan.
It's off to Moatoob! US/(EU?) PSU gets it's 1st update! - Kitsadoodles - 16-11-2006 Well, at least we get the full game now with all three planets! Not to mention the pub on Moatoob, I can imagine most people will be chilling out there after the update! It's off to Moatoob! US/(EU?) PSU gets it's 1st update! - pink - 16-11-2006 Well you still don't get the whole game, but I don't even think Japan has the final area yet. It's off to Moatoob! US/(EU?) PSU gets it's 1st update! - -Logan - 16-11-2006 Im happy wif that ![]() But I still dont understand why they get those decorations for fall and we dont. Dont get me wrong, they're giving us a lot. I understood that it was way to early to be putting up halloween decors, but I think its been long enough for them to get together fall decors. Oh well, it doesnt really do anything :O Also I dont understand that last area, is that like a planet itself or just some random black hole with a dungeon? Im too lazy to get that far in offline :3; It's off to Moatoob! US/(EU?) PSU gets it's 1st update! - pink - 16-11-2006 Well do it anyways. There'll probably be things linked to story mode later on in Online Mode, so do yourself a favour and play it. XD It's off to Moatoob! US/(EU?) They got two free months, the Halloween theme, and a bunch of updates and we got nothing, so yeah... better get used to it.That's somewhat unfair, the Japanese did get the Halloween theme and 2 free months, but the first month of JP was a post-release beta that saw no content released, various glitches and server issues, and the splitting of the JP servers into two shards. Far worse than the little server problems on the US at release - and JP was only supposed to get one free month anyway (incidentally, if you pay for a six month sub, you get 30 free days on US). This update was released just over a month after release on JP, whereas US is getting the same update three weeks and a half weeks after release. We should get at least one other update before December 15th - I'll stick my head above the parapet here and say it'll be the update that releases Expert Classes, S-Rank Missions in Linear Line and low-end rares, and that it'll happen in a couple of weeks. The Japanese have more updates because the game has been out longer over there, and Takao Miyoshi even stated in an interview that JP will get content first - while the Japanese will get better treatment it's not quite as bad for us as you might think. Not getting Halloween sucks though. We should at least get Christmas anyway
