"24th Tachwedd 06" - Mirinee - 23-11-2006 Phantasy Star Universe EU Release in: 00 Days, 15 Hours, 43 Minutes, 03 Seconds [24th Tachwedd 06] ... tomorrow, tomorrow! Thanks to ragol.co.uk, I learned a new word: "Tachwedd". That's 1 step closer for me to be able to read: "Os yw'ch cyfrifiadur yn gweithio mewn iaith arall..." on this network setup instruction sheet I hold in my hand (picked up the wrong language version) *slaps forehead*. I can't understand a word, help. XD Welsh FTW. "24th Tachwedd 06" - TheMaster375 - 23-11-2006 Hmm....it looks like Latin or something. Maybe it's Greek. Unfortunately, I don't understand either of them. All I can say is.....you're on your own. XD
"24th Tachwedd 06" - Mirinee - 23-11-2006 It's Welsh. >_< And it doesn't look like Latin. Too many w's and y's. Only about half a million people speak it, but it sounds awesome--the pronounciation is crazy, especially the 'll' sound! Nothing like any language I've encoutered. Anyone on ragol.co.uk a speaker?
"24th Tachwedd 06" - TheMaster375 - 24-11-2006 Welsh, eh? I'm reading over it again and I don't think anyone here on ragol.co.uk is a Welsh speaker. If there was, they probably wouldn't be able to translate it in English that well.
"24th Tachwedd 06" - Lee-yoshi - 24-11-2006 I was wondering how many people would look at Tachwedd and go ":S" but it's an EU country, so i included welsh for any welshians out there
"24th Tachwedd 06" - Judgment - 24-11-2006 my grandma speaks welsh but i cant understand her much XD All i understand of that is its something about a computer
"24th Tachwedd 06" - nomercy - 25-11-2006 I thought it meant 'November'. "24th Tachwedd 06" - Mirinee - 25-11-2006 Yeah, Tachwedd does mean November. Judgment meant that the sentence I copied from my instruction sheet was about a computer, and he's absolutely right. On the English copy (which I finally got one of) the same sentence reads 'If your computer runs in another language it will usually still be possible to connect..." (What a vague sentence). So which word is the 'computer'? Maybe "cyfrifiadur" XD "24th Tachwedd 06" - Judgment - 25-11-2006 yup :3 I can sort of understand it now that i know what it means but my translation sucks XD If your computer working in language other :S thats all i understand of it |
