I was just idling on Universe 1, Parum Juice Bar, and some random Human girl walked up to me, and said 'Hi' you know, as you would. Anyway, after chatting for a bit, she goes "wanna know a cool glitch?"

So I said, 'sure, why not.'

Then she asks for 2k.

Alarm bells!

I doubt there's really any glitches in the game, let alone one that's worth 2k.

Anyone else almost been scammed yet?

Scammers! - Emperor - 07-12-2006

And what did you get for 2k? Just the alarm bell sound?
To make sounds its when in chat type &6 or any numbers 0-9
I haven't been scammed before i haven't traded with anyone.

I think he means alarm bells in his head, like 'something isn't right here'. I haven't been scammed, although that's due to my offline-ness. But 2000 isn't THAT big a deal, is it? Since in the first mission in Clyez City (offline anyway) you find that you can get about 900 per kill that drops Meseta.

It's a big deal online. Money is awarded in the double-digits for monster kills... and S Rank mission rewards are miniscule... in the hundreds if my information is correct.

Stuff costs less online, but not very much less... which makes money an actual issue this time around!

Uh oh, scammers! I bet she blows up your character if you give her the money, and leaves you in a bloody puddle on the floor while she walks away with your cash! I haven't been scammed yet, and I'm not paying any random person 2k even if it isn't a scam! So scram, scams!

*giggles* I think they were inspired by a certain event in Story Mode where Ethan nearly gets scammed twice in the span of five minutes. XD

Scammers! - nomercy - 07-12-2006

Altogether he nearly got scammed four or five times, didn't he?

Scammers! - Kitsadoodles - 08-12-2006

That darned Ethan! Always getting himself into trouble, with his lame catch phrases and voice acting! "Alfort Tylor, captain of the Landeel." "Ethan Waber, captain of myself!!!" (Had to bring up the hilarious quote!)

Scammers! - pink - 08-12-2006

I don't think they could've made Ethan Wanker anymore of a dork than he is... it's awful. XD

Scammers! - Reigast - 08-12-2006

Am I the only person that liked Ethan?

He reminded me of Ash from Pokémon. =D
