Gaming merchandise - Faulkie - 15-12-2006
If you've been into Gamestation recently you might have noticed a large portion of the store devoted to t-shirts, bags, sweatbands and other gaming-related bric-a-brac, including Mario, Zelda and even Pac-man related stuff. I myself bought a 1-Up hat, a Zelda sweatband and a "Know Your Mushrooms" bag. This stuff isn't even new. It's been floating around on the internet for ages. It's just recently become more readily avaliable.
So what do you think?
Do you think that this stuff is awesome and a MUST HAVE for any fan of classic gaming?
Or do you think people should spend more money on games and less on stuff to show people they like games?

I like gamimg merchandise, though all I have is a "25 things you learn from playing video games" T-shirt. A few of my friends have super mario/pac man shirts and the like.
Regardless of shirts and merchandise, I can't be one to say money is better spent on the video games themselves seeing as I have a tetris tatoo on my left ankle...lawl

i'm very materialistic, i love stuff, and i love games. so add them together and i love gaming merchandise!
i have lots of final fantasy stuff, soul calibur figures, the sega gals, a link model, halo stuff, tenchu, movie stuff like lotr helmets and predator stuffs. and loads more in here!
and the fabled chocobo inbreeder t shirt from vgcats ^^
i'd say i spend more on game stuff than the games
keeping an eye out for PSU stuff now :3lots of hello kitty stuff too... but thats because i'm a little girl at heart... Oo;

I'd have to say that gaming merchandise is great! The recent increase of being able to buy the damn stuff in GameStation is most probabily hailed by many out there in the world of gameage! If only i had some money to buy it with... lol

doesnt look too real :3 but i want it! that and the hello kitty guitar!
and imagine your room like it was a level in the nes mario game! walls like the actual level, a little mario you could stick wherever, aswell as the enemies, and giant green pipe chairs! that would be great ^^
