Playsega Blues - Anti Hacker - 05-03-2007 Thinking of re-activating your PSOBB account? So was I! And I did... Only to see this: ![]() It seems that now only a handful of players can re-activate their PSOBB accounts. Multiple users have contacted SEGA on the phone number: 415-701-3806 (seems to be broken now... They must know we're catching onto them!) for support but have been told "we are aware and currently investigating the problem..i cant tell you exactly when it should be fixed but here is my advice. After the subscription has been put on hold it may resolve itself after about 48 hours" It seems that SEGA are forcing players to switch to PSU in an underhanded manner, taking their money and then tearing away an effective Hunters License. This goes beyond cheapness. So spam their phone lines and spam them good! Don't take "Go to playsega.com" or "wait for 48 hours" for an answer! These are just cheap stalling tactics. Don't let SEGA steal your money. The end of PSOBB is nigh, and it is error 913 Playsega Blues - K_I_R_E_E_K - 05-03-2007 Anti Hacker Wrote:It seems that SEGA are forcing players to switch to PSU in an underhanded mannerare you sure?, that's a very complicaded situation, sega does not do on purpose i think.:S Playsega Blues - Anti Hacker - 05-03-2007 That is not the opinion of many other players, especially on the official boards where people are mad at Clumsy for not stepping forward in some way. Edit: I have heard that if you activate your account, wait until you get the "ON HOLD" message, then leave it for half an hour and renew you may fix the problem. Some people also claim a change of credit card details can help. However this has been heavily contradicted. Playsega Blues - Phantom_RAcast - 05-03-2007 If they dont give you time for the days you cant login, I'd suggest you call your credit card company and do a chargeback. Playsega Blues - Anti Hacker - 05-03-2007 It seems as if Playsega tells you that it has activated your account. After this, in about 5 minutes, it tells you there was a problem taking payment and inactivates your account! So they're not stealing money, actually they're acting like they dont even want it. That's a first for ST!!! Edit: It is not personal credit card detail issues, the card is valid. many other users are having this same issue. Playsega Blues - Poo Fly - 05-03-2007 i think its the issue i was left with on my way out of psobb, but that was a while ago, i assume this wouldve surfaced then if it was :3 Playsega Blues - Anti Hacker - 05-03-2007 I just sent this to SEGA support: Quote:This problem is for PSOBB, NOT PSU. I was referred here via your companies OWN chain of links please do not send me around in circles Let's see if they actually bother to do anything! Edit: Just for the "l0l" value: ![]() Oh and also PF, it probably has been around for a while. But it never made the news section here, and apparently was never fixed! Obviously not enough of a stink has been made to SEGA about it... yet. They clearly haven't met ME before. *breaks out SEGA employee strangle wire and snarls*
Playsega Blues - Anti Hacker - 05-03-2007 Everyone go here: http://sega-en.custhelp.com and submit a question, stating that you have recieved an error 913 and cannot activate your PSOBB account
Playsega Blues - nomercy - 05-03-2007 Sure, why not? Dratted Sega. Playsega Blues - Ivan - 05-03-2007 Anti's theory seems highly likely. PSU must not be selling as much as they want it too...
