Random stupid question. - Vay - 05-03-2007 My SS's are 5 MB. How can I reduce the quality or... something... to get them to be small enough to post on this site? I have a lot of SS's I'd like to share, but don't really know how to go about doing it. (Also, Photobucket seems to take a year to upload any of these same pictures... I haven't had one finish yet, and I've let it go for as long as 15 min). Please help!
Random stupid question. - K_I_R_E_E_K - 05-03-2007 reducing the size to half can help reduce the size, also changing the format to png (great quality, slower size then bmp) may help, if it is not enouph , change the format to jpg, will lose quality but the size it decrease alot. to change size use photoshop or so, to change format use paint. Random stupid question. - pink - 05-03-2007 The easiest thing to do is to merely change the format as Kireek said. For some stupid reason Sega has the snapshots be saved as BMP files... BMPs are completely uncompressed images, so they tend to be huge. If you want to have equal quality while the file's much smaller, use the PNG format, whereas if you just want a nice small file size, use the JPG format. Random stupid question. - Zero456 - 05-03-2007 Open it up in paint and resave it as a JPEG or other lighter-weight format. Random stupid question. - Vay - 06-03-2007 Thanks guys, massive help.
