Phone Question - Gaze - 16-04-2007

I'm not sure of where to put this, but this seems as good as anywhere. I today bought a Motorola V3 RAZR phone, on the Orange network. However, it didn't come with a disk to install the drivers neccessary to upload ringtones and such from the computer. So far all I've found online has drawn blanks, so I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction to download them. Thanks in advance.

Do you know why it hasn't come with a disc? Maybe it's a plug and play item...?

Phone Question - Gaze - 16-04-2007

The item list doesn't state it as coming with a disk. I looked around and managed to find a download for the drivers, and it seems to accept them, but it still won't let me upload anything onto it.It doesn't even show up as using a USB port.

[SIZE="2"][COLOR="DeepSkyBlue"]Genneraly, you cant download ringtones and etc, from the net, you have to buy all the music stuff seperate, but I am not sure if your phone is like that.

If it is not like that you have to sync them to your phone.

Actually, Iam not saure about ring tones, cause I don't know if you can do that anyway, but I know that is how you get music to your phone.

There is a "music kit" or something of the sort I am pretty sure, but you don't need it, jkust copy the music to media player, then sync them to device.

I think.

Mm. So far it won't show the phone as being an external port, so I'm a little confused as to what to do about it. I was hoping to upload a song or something to use as a ringtone, as the default ones are bad, to put it lightly.

Phone Question - God-IX - 17-04-2007

I think you have to have blue tooth to get your music to ringtones, and I am not sure how to use bluetooth, but other than that you have to buy other ringtones. perhaps your phone can't do it?

Phone Question - Gaze - 18-04-2007

That might be it, I guess. But it came with a mini-USB lead, so I thought that meant it could. I can always upload things to my fiance's phone and send them from there. Wink

Ahaha, it's alright. I just have to upload it to his phone and send it by MMS to mine.
