I got Diamond....OMG....the best game in the series HANDS DOWN...so pretty....
The game world is huge, I have almost forty hours in and haven't hit the 8th gym yet, and it's actually a hard game. The bosses and gym leaders are difficult and challenging, I don't even want to think about what the Elite 4 are going to be like.

But a game where your not done in 40 hours, is amazing, seeming as it is a Pokemon, and a gameboy game... very interesting, I might have to look it up.[/COLOR][/SIZE]

I've known about the game for five months... 0.o; Having joined Serebii not a week or two before the game launched I had many oppurtunities to learn about it.
I have waited so long. There is so much to explore and so much to do. Just caught Dialga, the Steel/Dragon legendary last night, I'd say I've only explored about 60% of the total game, and out of that may explored indepth maybe about 50%. This is excluding things like the Pal Park and Battle tower.
I've only got four Pokemon in my team right now: Lucario, Rampardos, Torterra, and Luxray. And they're in the forty-fifty level range. Haven't reached the eighth Gym yet. The leader looks a hell of a lot like the Fourth Hokage from Naruto.
The battle speed at first is a little slow, but you get used to it. Most of the animations for all the moves have been redone and most are amazing to look at.
Over all it is the BEST game in the series: very difficult like G/S but harder, team choice is important, cool new TM's ect.
I really like how having a balanced team in this game is ESSENTIAL, if you suffer a major type weakness, the NPC's will exploit it, and most of the gym leaders have pokemon that fit their move type for their gyms but not necessarily pokemon of that corresponding type. For example, Rampardos is a rock type but learns a physical Psychic type attack called Zen Headbutt. He is weak to fighting, and if a gym leader has Rampardos will use that move to hit a fighting type you send out against them. So the battles are actually fun.
Overall this game is hella' excellent, it's a little slow progressing at first, and the starters are well balanced. I chose Turtwig, and as a Torterra he is probably the most satisfying starter to play with I've ever had.

Oh, that is good, in all the other games I always tyhought they were too easy because the gyms always had a set type, like all grass, well just load up on fire then! kind of thing, but if this one is how you say, then it will be much much more interesting

Then there are the hella' cool type combinations...
Other than Chimchar's final evolution Inernape...another Fire/Fighting
But Empolean is Water/Steel (Pinplup's final evo.)
And Torterra is Grass/Ground (Turtwig's final evo.)
Then you have the male only evolution of Kirlia, Gallade, that is Psychic/Fighting and is hella' cool.
Lucario is Fighting/Steel
ect.

I beat the Eighth gym leader last night, then commenced to catching Uxie and Azelf, two of the legendary trio in this game (They're all psychic.).
It's really cool because Volkner uses Electric types, but he has an Octerillery. I had a team of four at the time which made the game much easier, my friend had a team of full six (Overall team levels would be lower.) And I had to lend him one of mine just so he could beat one of the game's bosses.
I'm at the Elite four, but I'm not going to challenge them until I can raise two more to make a full team. Surprisingly, I've never been fond of physical sweepers and tanks (Their attacks work off the Attack stat.), yet almost the entirety of my team is going to contain them.
Torterra
Luxray
Lucario
Rampardos
Gachomp
Abomasnow
That's the team I'm going for, they cover most of the major type weaknesses, the only real danger is a bulky water like Lapras or Slowbro, but Abamasnow is my staller/Tank
Give him something like
Abamasnow @ Leftovers
Ingrain
Blizzard
Avalanche
Grass Knot/Substitute

Yeah, as soon as I get my WiFi adapter back from my dad's this coming up weekend I'll drop you a post on here and we'll swap. I'm looking to possibly trade my Dialga...
On another note, I modified my team.
Took out Abamasnow, replaced him with Drifblim.
Elite 4: Hella' hard, I got stomped on the third one...Hopefully with my Adamant Garchomp I'll be able to beat the first two with ease and then unleash all hell on the third guy.
