Does anyone still play Sonic3k on a computer?
I have beaten it, Domesday Zone included. And also with Sonic & Tails, Knuckles, Sonic, and Tails. With all Super Emeralds and 99 Chances ea.

well, i have the roms and emulators
4 saves, first save is sonic and tails 99 lives 4 continues all zones, 2nd save is tails 99 lives 2 continues all zones, 3rd save is knuckles with 99 lives 2 continues and last save is only sonic with 99 lives and 14 continues (all special zones i have collected all the rings, since that takes time i won the continue in every special)
and hyper sonic rocks
as for sonic 3 only i have only 1 save wich is sonic (or is it sonic and tails), either way everything unlocked.

Yeah, Sonic 3 only has Sonic and Tails, you can't be Hyper Sonic in that game, but you can at least be super. Also, you can only play up to LAUNCH BASE, and from there whether it be Sonic/Tails, you fight Eggman alone; the Eggman Knuckles fights in LAUNCH BASE ACT 2.
P.S: Btw, is there a Big Ring in DEATH EGG ZONE? I have found Big Rings everywhere else besides that zone.

you know, hyper sonic has 1 tiny diference beetween super sonic, at the last level of sonic 3, either super sonic or super knuckles (sonic 3 +knuckles) can be hurt, if he grabs you 2 times, your invencibility is gone and you lose the rings, in hyper sonic that dos not happen.
oh and the last zone does not have rings.
i lately hacked the game to see what hapens for example using knuckles on the doomsday zone.

I have completed that game with every character, every super emeraly and full lives.
Sonic 1&2 were both harder IMO.

hmmm, yes, since sonic 1 you can't trasform into super, it becomes more difficult in later areas, sonic 2 last zone you don't have rings so it is hard also.
sonic 3 first 2/3 areas are easy, this is good to collect emeralds, after that the levels are harder but you have the super sonic transformations, because of that at the end of sonic 3 you get 3 bosses, even with super sonic your rings will slowly decrease to make you have 0 rings (especially when you encounter knukles on the way to the 2nd boss)
also the last areas, doomsday zone, the eggman ship and sky sanctuary do not have giant rings to get emeralds.

Also, you can't rev up in sonic 1 for a spin dash. And in sonic 1&2, you don't get the slash shield. This is most annoying in S2 because if you have 50 rings and jump you will go super - like it or not
And if you dont have all the emeralds you need by doomsday you should technically already be stuffed. Even if the game lets you get away with it...
And that Doesn't really matter I guess, seeing as you can get like, half your emeralds on angel island and the other half in mushroom hill alone
they have a mad amount of giant rings!

on sonic 3 you can do 1 thing, finish the game to unlock all the levels, then do mushroom hill over and over to get the gian rings XD.

Well...I forget which Sonic version but I am sure that when you have a barrier with Sonic and 50 rings you can press Enter 2x and not become Hyper Sonic; you'll do the special jump instead.
