Well me and a friend of mine has gone back to PSO ep 1&2, so far we have many characters and we are doing just fine. Yet we want to expand our item list and me im a right item hogger so i'm trying to find out the best equipment there is to find on there.
I want to know is, the information on the homepage for this board, is the information supllied based on the offline mode or the online, or maybe a mixture of the two? because im using the Red Handgun at the minute and I can say on Ultimate its not helping that much, it takes a while for me to take down A couple of Arlans on the ruins.
So any information at all would be Ideal, and it would be most appreciated.

what level are you, what mag do you use, stats, what % on the red handgun......what char are you?
if you want more power develop a power mag, get some god powers......

Also grind the Handgun. If you give some more information about your character we can reccoment rares to hunt for that will make it easier, and probably level up during the time hunting them.

We have only been playing for a couple of days now (possibly weeks)

so you are a ramar, so you can use techs and have a decent accuracy
in the mag try and do a power mag because that's what ramar needs, give it 40 dex, 10 def, 10 mind and 140 pow, this way your attack power shall be bigger, if you cannot make this mag, then fnd one anc create a new one (average stats, i am not asking to do a mag with the exact 140 pow, 40 dex....)

i have a kama mag which i have given to a less adept character 145 power, dex 15 and mst 1 cant remember the rest of the stats
I am struggeling killing, because of my power of course but i am using mechguns at the minute due to the power compared to my redhandung, i cant remember the name something like H2 r and justice

so the lvl 100 mag, can you raise the pow and dex more?
a good set of mechs that can easily do the job is charge vulcans with hit %
vulcans are the best basic mechs, charge is the special, it sacrifices meseta to make a attack 2x more powerfull then the hard attack, if you happen to find one with hit % use it.
in a overall "rating" all ou need is the right units for the armor, the right stats mag and level up a litle more,(at level 103 no wonder things are hard)because weapons you already have, red handgun is a very good one.

sorry my mag is round about level 160, my actual character level is 103 my mistake.
The red handgun was actually the first ever item i got on Ultimate mode which i was pretty chuffed about.
Charge vulcan yes, I have several of them, i'm quite sad as soon as i obtain a yellow item i keep it, if the percentages are right of course, there is no sense in keeping one which is 0% on everything.
I do have several other mags which are round about level 50-60, I carry them round with me and feed both of them Trimates, Antiparalysis/Andtidote, and star atomizers (because I love my mags). Somewhere I'm not to sure if it is on a lower levelled character, I have a mag which is pure Dex and Power, so hopefully if I can find that whether it is on one of my two hunters or my mage, I shall have to find it and level it up some more it's round about lv.70.
Now to do with weapons, I prefer my mechguns, I'm trying to find something called the Guld Milla, or something like that, basically because mechguns are my favourtie choice of weapon for the Ranger classes, because of their speed, they may be weaker but with a 9 hit combo, it adds up to more then my red handgun, and thats been grinded to +50 as i stated before.

my first mag was made with the items i have found, but as soon i entered ultimate i decided to make a new mag with much more pow, so i did
-lvl 103 for a char, simply lvl up more, the stats will increase.
-make your mag lvl 200
-try and find better units, god units are hard to find but they are worthed.
in my opinion try and focus more on the level (mag and yours)

dang thats alot of weapons, but for now, you should focus on the ones that you really need, for instance, the anti android rifle is a pretty good rifle, so snag that, a bringers rifle, a frozen shooter, a yasminkov 9000M, and a yasminkov 7000V, you should be set for a while
BTW: the yasminkov 9000m is ONLY dropped by purplenums, and hildetorrs drop the frozen shooter, day 5, and i still havent found one T.T
