each weapon, has a story - Bmil - 14-09-2007

well, if you noticed, some of the weapons have japanese names, now just looking at them without any knowledge they seem normal, but, they never are
for instance, the weapon sange means repentance, and yasha means female demon, so, sange and yasha is essentially good and evil, whereas, musashi means nothing on its own, but when broken up into the three words mu-sa-and shi, it means "six different deaths", here are some more examples
sange: repentance
yasha: female demon
musashi(mu-sa-shi): six different deaths
yamato: ancient japan

agito, oraotiagito.
by looking at name i once tought about it but never did much research like you bmil.
normally the weapon in the description may have the origin or a story, for example harisen batle fan wich was used in etertainment

don't know if it is relevant, but i beleive i once saw a very detailed pic of a heart of poum and the weapon had a zone with some writing wich may indicate some story behind it

*goes and search the pic*
edit:
*fails finding the pic*
