Handcuffs, eh? Getting kinkier by the minute. Also, care to explain why it's illegal? Heehee, as far as I'm aware, they teach that stuff in school now. Well, they taught me, anyway ... A Rena vs Anti Debate - Anti Hacker - 16-09-2007 Your school are clearly all devil worshipping scum! ... Just kidding. Of course it ain't illegal
A Rena vs Anti Debate - Rena - 16-09-2007 Worshipping the devil is much more fun in the end. You can do alllllllll the naughty things you want and not be chastised because it is 'not right'. Plus I was talking about primary school ... I had sexual education classes in year six. A Rena vs Anti Debate - nomercy - 16-09-2007 We really need to have a talk with this girl... Something's missing from the old brain-meats locker. And yeah, I actually remember those classes. How boring they were, listen to some old hag of age 55+ drone on about sex... A Rena vs Anti Debate - Anti Hacker - 16-09-2007 Ha! I started in year four; I win the prize! ![]() As far as religion goes, if you believe what people tell you blindly - then faith is nothing but folly. Religion breeds fundamentalism, which breeds war and death. If I was so religious I wouldn't be covered with various pentacles.
A Rena vs Anti Debate - Rena - 16-09-2007 *points up* I think you need to have a talk with him first. Faith is a completely broken ideal anyway. Faith requires you to believe nothing more than hearsay. I prefer hard evidence before I begin to take anything from a book of 2000 years or so of age to heart. Besides, I'm slightly biased towards it anyway, what with all the stoning to death of homosexuals. A Rena vs Anti Debate - Anti Hacker - 16-09-2007 Yeah that's some messed up stuff right there. But people will fear what they don't understand, and what they percieve as a threat to that which they hold dear. It doesn't take much for your average human being to become tainted against normality because of fanatical opinion leaders claiming divine rights. A Rena vs Anti Debate - Rena - 16-09-2007 It's less 'divine right' than it is 'demonic right', in my opinion. After all, if we do not 'act in the way the Lord wishes us to', we shall be thrown into an eternity of pain and suffering at the hands of the Devil. I'm not sure about everyone else, but that doesn't sound like something a benevolent Deity would do to their creations, eh? Either way, I'm going to take my chances and dance with the Devil. If I'm going to Hell, I may as well enjoy myself before I take the ride on Poldrion's raft. A Rena vs Anti Debate - Anti Hacker - 16-09-2007 They believe it is divine right because they convince themselves it is what their god wants. They find passages in apparently 'holy' texts which make amendmants to the commandments. For example, certain passages change "thou shalt not kill" to "thou shalt not kill... Unless they're like, gay. Then it's fine!" ¬_¬ Besides, any being who threw his own son and creation (satan) down to a cursed pit to rot just because he wanted one day to be equal with god... It shows that if there is any god he is as derranged and fearful as his blinded followers. I have to say Rena I agree with everything you have said. A Rena vs Anti Debate - Rena - 16-09-2007 Indeedy. Of the so-called "Ten Commandments", Thou shalt not commit murder is 6th on the list of them in Jewish, Orthadox, Anglican, Reformed, and other Protestant forms of religion. However, in Roman Catholic it is number five. Thou shalt not murder ... Well ... Quote:Putting these texts to the side, we are left with three references, all of which unequivocally condemn homosexual behavior. Lev. 18:22 states the principle: "You [masculine] shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination" (NRSV). The second (Lev. 20:13) adds the penalty: "If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall be put to death; their blood is upon them." "Put to death" is another way of saying they are to be killed. Which is murder. Well done to whoever wrote the Bible, because that's a blaring flaw in it. Also I feel somewhat insulted to think that the way I am, whom I choose to love, the way I feel about that person, just because they are the same gender as me, I am as the Bible states, an "abomination". It doesn't fill me with confidence on the whole, when God is supposed to love all his creations. So homosexuals aren't creations of God? That is, if He even exists. However, I do feel it neccessary to state that nothing is actually said about female homosexuality. Granted, in the days the Scriptures were written, women were nowhere near equal to males, and even today we are not, but it still makes me think that it needs to be mentioned. After all, we're just women, we don't need to be mentioned in anything. We don't have the right to be, because no matter what, we will always be inferior to males in the 'grand scheme'. |
