Level-by-level formula? - LukeSc - 16-02-2008 Hey Guys, I was wondering if anyone knows how the game determines how much attack power, mind, defense, and accuracy points you receive per level, per character, and what contributes to this (section id?). We know that for each character there is a minimum and maximum value, and that by each level what you gain has to go from one to the other. There has to be a simple formula for this, but I haven't been able to find that information anywhere. Right now I'm working on a new JavaScript based Mag/Character Planning calculator. Unlike the one on this site, it will keep track of what you've feed "the mag" in the order you've chosen, and will have timer that lets you know when to feed it, and what to feed it. Not only that, but when you get the rare mag, it isn't going to go away once you gain +1 level (as it would happen in game). What I would like to do is add more than just a mag planning... I want to have it where you enter the level of your character and it will show you what your stats are with nothing equipped, and how much the "current mag" increases those stats. Being a written as a JavaScript class, it processes everything client side, so the page doesn't refresh every time. I also want to add a save/load progress (XML) feature. I figure the mag timer combined with the list of items will be very useful. You could be playing the game and have it alert you via sound that it's time to feed the mag, and it will tell you what 3 items you need to feed it. I also want to add power materials into the mix. The only thing that wouldn't be added is items/slot-items because there's just a ton of those. Level-by-level formula? - Mirinee - 16-02-2008 Hello, Section ID doesn't affect stats. It's only which class you are. These guides from psow have numbers: http://www.pso-world.com/sections.php?op=listarticles&secid=54 http://www.pso-world.com/sections.php?op=listarticles&secid=124 Good luck on your character simulator. Level-by-level formula? - K_I_R_E_E_K - 16-02-2008 so what you want is to reproduce your char exactly like in the game, considering the char stats wich are not introduced by the player but by calculating the stats if the user gives the level, + materials, + mag, is that correct. maybe it's my english but what do you want exactly? Level-by-level formula? - nomercy - 16-02-2008 I believe he wants to figure out how the game determines what stats you are given for each level up. 4ATP, 2DEF, etc. Level-by-level formula? - K_I_R_E_E_K - 17-02-2008 the game simply calculates before and after, if you have 100 atp and by the lvl up you have 102 atp, the game says you have gained 2 atp. but if you somehow mess your stats, like decreasing atp to 50, after you lvl up you become with 102 atp, so the game says that you gained 52 atp. so basicly every level has a determined atp wich may be influenced by material. *checks pso world* aw, it only shows from every 5 levels http://www.pso-world.com/sections.php?op=viewarticle&artid=1185 Level-by-level formula? - LukeSc - 17-02-2008 nomercy Wrote:I believe he wants to figure out how the game determines what stats you are given for each level up. 4ATP, 2DEF, etc. K_I_R_E_E_K Wrote:the game simply calculates before and after, if you have 100 atp and by the lvl up you have 102 atp, the game says you have gained 2 atp. Yeah that's exactly what I need. There has to be some sort of formula that determines how much Attack Power, Mind, etc.. you get per level, per character. I would find it hard to believe that each level is specifically planned out in a table because of how the rest of the game is setup. What I would like to do is make it where you choose your character, type in your characters name, and input the level and it would tell you everything about that character with nothing equipped or used. From that, you can plan out a Mag and how many power materials you want to use and see how they would influence your stats. The chart will be helpful. I just wish they had one of every level ... There has be a mathematical relation somehow.
