hey everybody. I've been thinking about getting a new mp3 player and I was wondering which one everybody thought was the best one.

I use this one.

Consumes less batery then my old one and does more then i ever imagined, it has a menu where you can personalize the sound frequency and increase/decrease to a level you like.
I recomend this one, but other ppl might recomend others.

just curious which was your old one?and I forgot to mention that I'd like it if it could have photos and play videos on it as well.

oh, videos and photos, for a portable mp3 player i probably know someone that has basicly what you want, the only thing i saw that i didn't like is that it runs on a small battery, so if it runs out and your not at home you can't replace the battery.

But maybe there's one around that uses AAA common bateries, if you run out you can atleast buy more at a store.

My old one was this one:

I'd advise getting a PSP. It plays movies, music, images, games, and they're pretty cheap right now.

I've got a Creative Zen Stone. I'm always accidentally breaking screens on mp3/4 players so it's a good choice for me. Only problem is it's a shuffle so you can't pick your songs, but the battery life is extremely long so it evens out.

I got a Zen for Christmas, though I haven't started using it yet.

PSPs aren't exactly portable, despite their name. They're far too big for my pockets, at least.

I have an Ipod, It plays movies and can hold pics.

I don't know if thats what you would want but it gets the job done.

well out of everything psp is the thing that appeals the most to me so far. I've heard that Ipods have a few problems so I probably won't go with those. and I don't want a shuffle type one because my taste in what I feel like listening to changes quickly so I need to be able to choose a specific song.

are there any defects with a psp? also what kind of battery does it use? I'd prefer if it had a lithium battery and a thing where you can also buy a car and outlet charger.

also what are the advantages of an Ipod? I've only ever had two MP3 players so Ineed to know these things because I don't like putting a lot of money into something I'm not going to enjoy.

and last off. you guys can take your time answering seeing as I have a good one right now and don't have the money to buy one anyways. however I've already been using this one for a while and the extened warranty is already about half up so I might be getting one sooner than I think. mainly because after this february somebody might actually hire me for a job.

oh and I guess I should mention what my current one is. it's a 4G sansa sandisk fuze. if oyu go to http://www.sandisk.com you can see the fuze at the bottom of the page.
