okay well partisans look worse at first glance but I was wondering are they truly worse? I want to know before I decide between bluefull and skyly

Swords do more damage but are slower, Partisans are faster but weaker.
If you have a God/Battle a sword is your best friend.

The only thing i hate is the sword animation, it often makes you vulnerable after a combo (male chars), with partisans i never had that problem.
Often partisans are more accurate, but you can make a sword equally accurate by finding one with hit %.
It's opcional really, a good partisan to have is VJAYA, that weapon has the strogest and most expensive special of all sacrifice weapons, i know for sure you will do alot of damage with it, probably even more then any sword.

you're right! I've been through the ruins and because of the sword animation I have to hit them twice and half run away before I can hit them again!. so partisans would solve this problem? thanks. the one I'm going to be looking for is either the soul banish or imperial pick. I like scythelike weapons the best
(I've looked at s rank scythe and while it doesn't take away your health it has about half the attack of the soul banish)

Go with the Imperial Pick. Its a great weapon.

what's so great about the imperial pick as compared with the soul banish? besides the fact that you imple monster with a weapon that looks fit to pierce and iron Wall

Soul banish is better if you compare the stats, so yeah, imperial pick is worse, but it also has a lower atp requirement to be equiped.
