an ethical question - pso king - 20-01-2009 If somebody is stupid enouhg to drop a rare item and you're able to pick it up should you? an ethical question - Tesya - 20-01-2009 no i dont think you should with the obvious exceptions ie knowing the player, gift and so on. an ethical question - Mirinee - 20-01-2009 As long as you're not stealing it for real. They're not necessarily stupid. They might just be too trusting of people, or worse, too trusting of the server/room, especially rooms which have been open for a while. You should tell them off if you're feeling kind.
an ethical question - K_I_R_E_E_K - 20-01-2009 Remember that the player can acuse you of stealing and the GM can look into the situation. Normally when i drop items it's because i don't need them, so i left them for anyone to pick them, but in anycase if i see an item on the flor, i pick it up, i check it and then i ask if they need it or not. It's always good to ask. an ethical question - demeiz - 22-01-2009 Depends on the situation usually. If you enter a game and some drops a mega-rare and it seems to good to be true. Then it usually is. Like the whole "Spread-needle +99" thing with v2 games. an ethical question - pso king - 22-01-2009 just asking because somebody dropped a high level armor I could have easily stolen. you shouldn't ever drop your items unless you WANT to lose them an ethical question - Lance813 - 22-01-2009 I only drop stuff to let them look at the %'s. Only people i trust though. an ethical question - pso king - 22-01-2009 it's just as easy to look at percent in a trade. the only reason you should ever drop an item is if it's one you can afford to let go free of charge an ethical question - Lance813 - 22-01-2009 Lance813 Wrote:Only people i trust though. This. Plus its less of a hassle. If the question has not been answered. "No" unless they leave the game or say you can have it. an ethical question - K_I_R_E_E_K - 22-01-2009 demeiz Wrote:Depends on the situation usually. I know what you mean, one of the 1st times i entered a schthack game there were 2 rare mags at the bank and no one wanted them, this was suspicious so i picked them up, one had hacked stats and the other one had 30.000 IQ lol, so no wonder they were on the ground |
